Best ice cream in central Iowa. Only open in the summer.

My friend & I stopped here for some ice cream while we were riding the High Trestle Trail, and it was very refreshing. The... counter service was convenient and efficient, and the outdoor patio was serviceable. I had a simple chocolate malt and ittasted above average, so I was pleasantly satisfied. This is a small town gem. I work in Luther and am always telling people to stop here on their way back to Des Moines. They have... some pretty unique flavors as well. The scotcharoo and banana split were a couple of pur favorites. I also really like the cakebatter and oreo combo. They are dog friendly and have a water bowl out front for your furry friends too!
