My friend & I stopped here for some ice cream while we were riding the High Trestle Trail, and it was very refreshing. The... counter service was convenient and efficient, and the outdoor patio was serviceable. I had a simple chocolate malt and ittasted above average, so I was pleasantly satisfied. Prices are reasonable as well. It was just a couple of blocks off of thetrail, so definitely worth the stop. Read more

The ice cream here is absolutely amazing! It is the perfect small town, mom and pop, ice cream shop. We called to see if it was... open due to some local power outages and I told the owner we were on coming from Ames. He called me back about five minuteslater to give me alternate directions due to some working being done on the highway. That?s amazing customer service!! Read more
This is a small town gem. I work in Luther and am always telling people to stop here on their way back to Des Moines. They have... some pretty unique flavors as well. The scotcharoo and banana split were a couple of pur favorites. I also really like the cakebatter and oreo combo. They are dog friendly and have a water bowl out front for your furry friends too!
