Honest review: For this area it’s classified as great. For the entirety of my travels, it’s very good. Service was passable... due to busyness. The food was fresh and potions was great. This is a very busy joint on the weekends. Very popular to thelocals, and tourist. They have a cool little market next door with some good finds. Prices was right for the quantity/qualityratio. It's way over priced and really small portions for the amount of money that they charge for entree's. And although it's... authentic Italian food. It's not awful but yet not the greatest either. Highly disappointed for the price we paid. I got Alfredoand my husband got shrimp scampi and we paid $30 a piece for us to eat there. Every plate is around $20 - $26 plus you have topay extra for salad it's not included + your drink. So you're at $30 or even more per person. Read more
My husband and I are away for a Mother’s Day weekend with our moms, we all live in Leland NC. We decided to go to Franks last... night for dinner. It was slammed! Mother’s Day, Graduations & Proms (who knew!), luckily we made a reservation. They wererunning behind and the hostess was very honest that there would be a wait, and there was, a good 20-30 minutes. The hostess keptus updated through out the wait. She was extremely busy but never forgot about us or lost her cool as people just kept comingin. Once we sat, our servers (2) we’re on the ball. The food was amazinggg from beginning to end (my mother and I areoriginally from NY and it was the best Italian food we have had in some time!) The staff was unbelievable, which made theexperience even better. Great atmosphere, amazing service and amazing food are not easy to come by these days. Thank you for aperfect Mother’s Day meal. Had a wonderful dinner at Frankie's tonight with a last minute reservation. Staff was attentive and gave use some great... suggestions. Half of the eggplant dish and penne came home with us. The dessert was amazing, especially the gelato. The pizzalooked amazing and that will be something for us to try on another visit. Read more
Delicious Italian food in a nice atmosphere. We were happy to wait a longer wait time.beacuse we had a group of 6. Totally worth... the wait. I had a lemon twist drink that had limoncello in it. I had calamari for an appetizer. Super crispy and tender. Fordinner I had the mussels and clams with linguine. Everything was delicious and on point. Read more
