We took my son there for his Birthday because the reviews on line were good and it was close to where we were staying. I have to... say that that was the worst Italian food we have ever had. My son and I got the chicken marsala, I swear it was chicken withcream of chicken soup over noodles, My husband ordered another dish that was not very good either. Had Marlene as a waitress and they were absolutely the sweetest person. Tom cooked everyone's food and it was amazing. Highly... reccomend. Great garlic knots too! Horrible experience. This was our first time to dine in. Staff was terrible. A wait to get seated, fine. A wait to get our drink... order taken, fine. Long time to get drinks and to be told sorry we don't have the wine you ordered, fine. Took FOREVER to getappetizers, fine. But then it got worse. After she set down our garlic knots & cheese sticks, as she walked off she said, I'llput in your meal order now. I about fell out, we'd already ordered and been waiting forever, I thought our dinners would beright behind the appetizers. So we waited anyways, wanting to support to the local restaurants. Only for her to come back out30 minutes or more later and tell us she needed our order again. I said you mean it's not turned in yet? She said, yes it is Ijust can't get the ticket back from the kitchen and I need the items for the ticket for ringing you up later. She wanted everydetails, like the "no anchovies", why would you need that unless you were actually turning in the ticket to the kitchen? After afew minutes, someone in our party went back and found her and said, are you sure it was turned in previously. She said, oh yes,the pizza is in the oven. After having been there about an hour and half, we were going to miss the mini golf place we'd planto go to because they would be closing in the next hour. So we decided to leave. Despite all the inconveniences, they stilltried to get us to pay for the entire ticket, and we said no, it wasn't even turned into the kitchen. Several staff members wereso confused as they knew nothing was cooking in the kitchen and they said, you mean you haven't gotten your food yet? But theySTILL charged us for: two teas, one coke, small garlic knots (I think they charged us for a large) and mozzarella sticks for atotal of $30. Didn't even comp the drinks after the horrible wait we had. When we left, we had to run to mini golf on emptystomachs and make sandwiches at home afterwards as everything in town was closed. We waited 2 hours for our food and never received it. We waited 45 minutes for a table and another hour and 30 minutes after... being seated for our food. We had only ordered a pizza, drinks, and an appetizer. We received drinks and appetizers an hour intoour wait after we asked when our food would be ready. We were told our pizza was in the oven and would be out in 10 minutes.Another 30 minutes passed and we hadn?t got our pizza. We asked them what was happening and they said they would re-take ourorder. After that we decided to leave because it was almost 9pm. They still tried to charge us for all of our food ordered, eventhe pizza we didn?t receive. After negotiating, we ended up spending $40 for drinks and our appetizers, after our 2 hour waitfor food we didn?t get. Disgusted at our experience, and laughing at the audacity to call this place Snappy. Read more
Sadly, and I do mean sadly, I gave a restaurant I have enjoyed immensely over the years a 1 star review. For perspective I've... been coming here since 1994 .The food here is amazing. You won't be able to finish your plate, as the portion sizes are massive.I was once told that the owner weighs out each portion of pasta and it must be at least one pound. There pizza is amongst thebest I've had anywhere. But tonight, 6/3/22 my son and I were not waited on. We waited for 10 minutes as the staff walked backand forth before we were even acknowledged. Finally, one of the kitchen staff came out on break and informed the wait staff theyhad customers. One girl said "I'm not a waitress tonight, I won't seat them." The three other staff members barely acknowledgedus, saying we will be with you shortly. Normally, staff takes your name and advises a wait time, instead they went back andforth saying we will be with you shortly over and over. After weighting an additional 5 minutes, my son and I left. I'mdisappointed. I understand that help is hard to come by lately, but they were not so busy that they couldn't have seated us andgot our drink order. I would have gladly waited had they done that. I'll give Snappy's another chance, and if the service isslightly better, I'll give this restaurant the 5 star review they deserve. Read more
Hidden gem! We were craving pizza and found this little place. The wait was long and we wanted to see the sunset and we knew we... would miss it if we waited, but the man in the kitchen said "go see the sunset and I'll be here to make your pizza when you getback". The hours are until 9:00 p.m. but we got back right at 9:00 and they made sure we got our pizza. They are short staffedjust like everyone so be patient. The pizza was delicious!!! The staff was amazing, kind, and they go out of their way to makesure they accommodate everyone! Definitely give this place a try. Read more

I have traveled all over the country north, south, east and west. I have eaten at a lot of Italian restaurants all throughout... the country and I can honestly say, Snappy's food is most definitely and without a doubt some of the best I have eaten. The foodis delicious, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is nice for a sit-down dinner and Garrett is a great guy and a great chef! Ihighly, highly recommend Snappy's when you visit Maggie Valley, you will not regret it!! Read more
