My new favorite restaurant. I NEVER like Mexican restaurants because it's never as good as my dad's cooking, but this place put... Dad to shame. I've had 6 different meals there and they're ALL fire. The staff is so friendly, the cooks are phenomenal, and thevibe of the place is chill as hell. I absolutely love this place. If you don't order the flan to finish it up you're missingout. This might be my favorite Mexican restaurant on the north side of Houston! I?ve been to the sawdust location and this one was... spectacular as well! Liz was a great server, attentive and had great recommendations. We had the chips & salsa, lunch steakfajitas, and lunch Birria tacos. And a spicy margarita ???? Everything was to die for! Seriously! The Birria tacos were 10/10,along with the jalapeño spicy marg. The margarita had a nice savory flavor to it instead of the sweet you normally get with afruit flavor. Read more
Two stars because the food was not bad. Once we ordered our food we never saw the waiter until we were finished eating. No... followup what so ever. We really wanted another beer, I guess one is the limit. 20 minutes with an empty glass. The waiter toldme service would be better next time. Lol! Anyway, I left fuming. Pretty sad. Read more
Excellent staff. Been twice, once for dine-in and once for takeout. Highly recommend this place. Dine-in... Nice place, very... friendly staff, very good food. Favorite dish: street tacos, try the cochinita pibil, you won't be disappointed. Takeout... Icame back to order meat by the pound for a party. Talked with one of the managers, who was extremely helpful. We talked throughsome logistics and helped me better prep for the party. They gave me a very good price for the meat, given the skyrocketingprices. The day of pickup, the food was packaged extremely well and the young lady who closed out the check was friendly andhelpful. First time here. My hubby and I came here after reading some reviews in a local Foodie group. We were NOT disappointed! The beef... fajitas were tender and flavorful, as were the puffy tacos. Even the rice was awesome and I rarely eat the rice at a Mexicanrestaurant. Our server was Carlos and he was amazing! We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. Read more
