Oh It was a lovely place to go. It was nice and peaceful.The ambience was perfect for that afternoon drink. I had the Matcha... Monster,. I had a sample of the Jasmine tea. It was very good. Sweetwaters is a great little haven for fun and unique drink options and food. They also do a good job of the basics in terms of... coffee too. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and upbeat. Whatever you do, GET THE HAZELNUT CHOCOLATE PASTRY! I was so amazed by it, I forgot to take a picture ???? but it was incredibly... yummy. Get it warmed up too. Also, the French Vietnamese Au Lait drink is delicious. Strong coffee flavor from the Frenchchicory root coffee but toned down with the sweetened condensed milk. I found it delicious and satisfying. Good espresso, cake was too sweet and the spinach croissant was very flat and dense. The fact that someone else puts half and... half in your coffee takes a lot of control out of the equation for a great cup. Nice and clean, nice people, hard little chairsmells good. I highly recommend Sweetwaters Coffee. Why ANYONE would ever go to Starbucks over this place is besides me. The staff was... amazing, coffee was excellent and the atmosphere is so inviting. What a great spot! There are great options for coffee and tea and pastries. We tried the hot ginger raspberry tea and a dreamy... cold brew coffee which has vanilla in it. Both were fantastic! The dreamy coffee wasn?t too sweet but maybe that was because Iadded some extra shots. The pastry options seemed great. They even had cheesecake.
