This place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is relaxed and causal. The food was delicious! I highly recommend the burgers and... seasoned fries. The turtles and zombie area were corky and funny. They give the place a little spice. If you have a party of 4or more I recommend calling ahead and making a reservation if possible. It can be very busy. Their service was great andattentive. Cute and quirky little hangout spot. Had the BLT and seasoned fries. Had an amazing view from my table of a zombie hanging... around an outhouse. I'm not one to judge. Stopped by to have breakfast today for the first time. I regret not visiting sooner. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff... and the food was amazing. The Treehouse Cafe, on FM 1488, about five miles west of the FM 2978 intersection. A fun place to go eat and see their... collection of live turtles. From small to huge The Cafe offers indoor, outdoor seating as well as orders to-go. The staff isfriendly and the cooks are QUICK!!! The menu is minimal, but sufficient for a Cafe. They always have an off the menu, lunchspecial. I had the cheese burger. Very good, the meat had minimal fat so it was not a mess to eat.. I opted for a side saladrather than the spicy french fries. Overall great for a Cafe in the woods. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make plansto take the whole family there for dinner. Message me if you have any questions. Anywhere close to this place demands a stop - see the multitude of turtles, the zombie garden & fast, fresh, delicious food.... Service was quick and friendly. We stopped in for lunch and were not disappointed. When I saw "homemade Bleu cheese sauce", I knew I had to get the Balck &... Bleu Burger. My husband ordered the Magnolia Burger and LAWD! It was messy, but it was sooo good! Our server, Belle, was sweetand hospitable. Our ordered came out quickly, the tea was sweet! Oh, amd the tortoises! 5/5 The Treehouse Cafe is a treat! Read more
