Had high hopes, expecting something great considering the spin off of Breaking Bad (a favorite). Sampled chicken, pork and steak... tacos. A rather small basket of chips and gritty cheese dip. Taking a big risk with the salsa that people will like it as it isnothing like what you would expect to find. I have tried and enjoyed many types of salsa from sweet to hot and this one was amiss for me. The chicken was shredded but not even edible it was so dry. My son even tried to choke it down and he said it wasway too dry. Pork was very good but steak was shredded or chopped super fine. Did not enjoy that. Flavors or pretty bland. Ialways ask for lime on the side to enhance the flavors. Didn’t work. Street corn was tasty. Might be better served in a dish.Very messy on the cob. My 3 yr old granddaughter’s mac n cheese (Kraft), was super dry. Not really fair to her poor thing. Ireally wanted to love it, and have it be a new option for us, sadly we won’t be back. My son (grown), said we should stop andpick up food on the way home. Sorry, but it is an honest review. Read more
It's a small wonderful place for Mexican Food.
A nice little gem hidden in town. It plays on the Breaking Bad theme, but that's about it. The food is amazing and we have yet... to have a bad dish. Daily drink specials and unique food that the other places in town don't have. My only wish is for morechips in the basket to go with that yummy sauce and cheese dip. Read more
Food was fresh and hot. Service could have been a little faster but overall the dining experience was good.
OMG their food is AWESOME! I ordered a burrito with chorizo, beef and chicken and it was as big as the platter it was served on!... Worth every penny. The wait staff was very polite and service was extraordinary. Their medium margheritas are as big as somethat I've paid twice the amount for and those were labeled LARGE! My wife and I tried this for the first, and last time. We ordered steak fajitas and a deluxe burrito. The steak was tough and... had zero seasoning. It was more like very thinly sliced beef rather than steak. The burrito was also flavorless. The queso wasgood, however gritty. Read more
Don't miss this place! Literally the sign is faded so don't drive past it lol. It's on the west side of the bbq joint. Get some... tacos and some flan they were on point. The chorizo tacos were probably the best chorizo tacos I've had in Central Illinois. Ican't recommend this place enough! Read more
