I always ALWAYS hesitate to order from Jimmy Johns in Mahomet! They almost never deliver on time! I am a teacher and I only have... 30 minutes for lunch. It is currently 12:25 and my order was supposed to be delivered at noon!! It is ridiculous and when youcall...their only response is "we are running behind. Sorry about that" I have now wasted my entire lunch period up here waitingfor my lunch. It is the worst run Jimmy Johns I have ever encountered. Initial visit was good. My wife and I ordered off what was on the sign under the sandwich name. When we got home we found... lettuce, tomato and Mayo which totally surprised us. I called in and explained the situation. The young man put me on hold for alittle while and the. Put a young lady on with me. I said ?I was just put on hold? she then said ?Well you have a new person soyou need to repeat your problem?. Her approach set the tone for the conversation going forward. I explained our dilemma and everso rudely she said ?that the lettuce tomato and mayo is listed on the side in the items underneath are just extra butter on thesandwich.? After that the conversation went downhill. She remade our sandwiches but explained how I was wrong with a veryterrible attitude. Never once did I raise my voice but I felt bad. When I arrived through the drive-through she was smart withme and said ?did you want onion on those sandwiches?? I said yes please. She sarcastically smiled and said ?I wanted to ask!? Ithen asked her how long she?s been doing customer service. I tried to explain to her that you?re never supposed to tell thecustomer that they?re wrong because you want a repeat business. She apparently doesn?t care and was very snarky and rude. When Isaid that I was going to reach out to the owner she said ?go ahead and smiled at me.? Something needs done about this. Shewould not give me her name but I can describe her. I will repeat this to anyone I see about the Jimmy John?s in Mohamed. It's happened a couple of times...but I think it's pretty simple to follow directions and to not put tomato, when not asked for.... Good thing I didn't ask for bacon because they've charged me for it in the past and not put any on. It's still a sandwich ig. Read more
Quick and tasty meal and conveniently located if you are traveling dow Interstate 74. My favorite is the #2 Roast Beef.
No matter the location, I have not had a bad experience at Jimmy John's. The sandwiches and level of service are very... consistent no matter the location. I am a regular visitor in my travels. Read more
I have had a bad experience everytime we have ordered from this location. It is always slow service, when delivering it takes... 30-45 minutes, when you call to ask where it is it is an excuse of how busy they are. I love Jimmy Johns and will continue toorder, but will gladly drive to Champaign, as they are busy, and still get your order to you in a timely fashion (freaky fast).Twice they have gotten a few things incorrect and had to come back, and another delivered it to the wrong address. Ive eventried ordering and picking up with no customers in the restaurant they were looking at their phones and said "oh week I'll haveit ready in a few minutes" (this was 15 minutes after ordering it). I order delivery from the Mahomet Jimmy John's 2-3 times a week, and am usually happy with the service. Yesterday, another... restaurant, not Jimmy John's, screwed up and gave me sweet tea instead of regular with my order, so today when I called, I askedfor Absolutely Unsweet tea with my sandwich. Ordered online and somehow my modifiers were taken off my sandwich. Called and talked to Kyle and he were very understanding.... Put my sandwich out front and they are exchanging it for me. I'm thankful they can do this because I don't feel the best. Happycamper right here! Read more
