Was decent pizza nothing to rave about. We tried the dill pickle ?Kinda Big Dill? and the sausage king. 3 stars bc this place is... way expensive. Wow I was surprised? the pizza didn?t make up for the price in my opinion. I would say it is worth a shot ifyou?ve never had the dill pickle pizza since they were the first to come out with it. The back story: during the pandemic, I?d ordered a selection of QC Pizza?s best sellers via Goldbelly and was blown away by the... complex and unique flavor profiles - as well as how well they held up after being flash frozen and shippe any others in thecountry and that set what happened next in motion; I happened to be coming to Saint Paul, MN on a concert tour, and ended uphaving a chat with QC Pizza owner Dennis who subsequently suggested we stop by to try some of his new creations! We couldn?tpass this up and the bottom line is: even though the frozen versions I cooked at home were delicious & obviously made with thefinest possible ingredients?there simply is no substitute for fresh pizza coming straight out of the oven! Despite the allure ofthe newer Taco Pizza or the Jerk Chicken options amongst many others, we decided to reprise the Kinda Big Dill (the one that putQC on the map!), the Big Popper (a jalapeño popper inspired pizza finished with a raspberry glaze), and Dennis suggested we trythe ?Curd-A-Roni? as well, which was a great idea since I personally always first judge a pizzeria by its most basic option pastplain cheese. Needless to say, all 3 were incredible! So many textures, so many layers of flavor? and what was most astoundingwas how much better the already amazing crust was fresh! The dusting of cornmeal allowed for a crispy bottom and pleasing chewthat firmly supported the weight of the ample toppings across the board! For those unsure of the ?exotic? pizzas, let me justsay the Big Dill is essentially a deconstructed Cuban sans the mustard (but I do recommend try a slice with a some for the fulleffect!) and the locally smoked Canadian bacon is smoky heaven! The Big Popper does the same for jalapeño poppers with thepiece de resistance being the aforementioned raspberry glaze! Both are next level and worth exploring - there?s nothing to bealarmed by as ever component is truly complimentary! And that cup pepperoni with the Ellsworth chee Read more

Tried QC Pizza because my wife about them on TikTok. It is quite a drive for us but we decided to give it a try. What a great... find. The crust was crispy on the outside with a chew. Delicious. Perhaps it is the quad city dough recipe. We tried Kinda aBig Dill and Squeeze by Chicken as well as a build your own. All tasted great. I was Leary of the dill pickle pizza but ittotally worked. I suggest eating it the pickle pizza hot. Wasn't a fan of it cold but the pizza reheated perfect in my toasteroven. Even brought back the texture of the crust. We will definitely try them again. High quality ingredients and creative pizzas! We got half garbage pizza (which includes sausage the owner makes himself) and... half Hawaiian, and next time will try the famed dill pickle variety. Crust is not quite thin, not quite thick--a goldilockscrust, and quite flavorful. Red sauce is flavorful and not too sweet. Cheese is ample. They also serve local sodas made withcane sugar. 6/12/22 we tried the big dill pizza and the sausage king pizza. Personally I preferred the sausage king pizza. But for my money... I would go with red savoy. Different strokes for different folks. *Anniversary special 16" pizza $20. 2 16" pizzas and 4northern sodas $50. Read more

We visited Mpls location for the first time today and ordered two different salads (Greek and Caesar) plus the big popper and... Sausage king pizzas. Went in thinking it was a dine in restaurant, and the owner and his side kick accommodated us, pulledtables together, so we could dine in. We had great service and explanations of different pizzas and their ingredients. The foodwas phenomenal and reheated in the oven much later, still very tasty, not soggy at all. We will definitely go back. Read more

I'm not a huge pizza fan, but I have an obsession with pickles. I've been wanting to make it to this place for a long time and... finally did today! The "Kinda Big Dill" pizza was amazing!! Since it takes longer to make this pizza, I ordered online ahead oftime so it would be ready when I got there. I bought a 16" cooked pizza as well as a 12" frozen pizza. The man inside wasincredibly friendly as well. I ended up chatting with him for a little while and he showed me a video (posted on their Facebookpage) of how to take their frozen Kinda Big Dill pizza and make pizza roll-ups. I can't wait to try that too! I'll be back!! Read more
