Not coming back. We are big fans of acai bowls. First timer at this place. Looks cool. We order 2 custom bowls. They were good.... For feedback we think it needed something special to stand out from other acai bowls. The cashier and her working partner weregreat, welcoming, very friendly and helpful. We left a good tip for that. Overall we were having a good time at the table,enjoying our bowls, until a lady that came out of nowhere talks to us from the other side of the counter, and pretty much saysthat we have 10min to finish up cause they are closing at 9pm. The last thing I want is to be pressured to eat my food. I toldher, as soon as we are done, we will leave. She said, we can give you to-go containers. Im like, im not going to get kicked out.She rolled her eyes and left. We couldnt enjoy the rest of our bowls thinking about the experience. We did eat faster anyway,cause we actually didnt want to be there anymore. To top it off, I went to the mens bathroom, it seemed they havnt cleaned in awhile. Ive worked the restaurant industry for over 20 years. I own a restaurant for 6 years and a food truck. Feedback. If youwant to close at 9pm, close at 8pm. And dont be rude to guests. Let them finish their food. If guests were actually done withtheir food and just hanging out, you could nicely approach the table instead of the other side of the counter, introduceyourself and let us know what you have to say. Finally got to check out this cute place and loved the light and bright atmosphere. The staff is very helpful and the service... was excellent! They not only did they explain all the different bases of bowls but we were both given samples of them all. TheMango Passion was delish with the spirulina base and my friend had the Mango Passion with yogurt base. Very fresh, light andquite filling! It?s a little pricey but the service size is quite large. Finding a place that sells superfood bowls is becoming easier as time passes, but finding one with all of the additional items... that Grain and Berry has is not so easy. Not only do they have the smoothies and bowls, but they have fresh juices and savoryentrées as well. I felt full and satisfied after eating, though I didn't feel weighed down by all of the food that I had putaway. I didn't slow down and I didn't need to eat for the majority of the day afterwards. I heard the employees say to anothercustomer that the business went corporate so I hope that they don't lose any quality in the future or even currently. Despitewhatever the overall flavor of a healthy product is, good or bad, the draw to come back again is the health and nutrition thatthe body needs. Without that it wouldn't be worth getting. I definitely felt like I was getting what I wanted out of the thingsI tried. I do look forward to coming back again and trying more of the menu. I personally wasn't bothered by this, but thepeople I was with were commenting on how the quesadilla had a tomato paste instead of a tomato sauce. Like I said, it didn'tbother me, but I would agree that this could be improved upon by using a tomato sauce. A sauce is lighter and well-rounded inflavor whereas the paste is the basis for a sauce. I only mention this because if somebody isn't much into tomatos or tomatosauce then they might get turned off by this. I wouldn't want to see a place with so much potential lose customers to smalldetails like this. I definitely enjoyed dining inside the restaurant. The plating was unique and everything is easy on the eyes.You've got the contrast from the darker cooler colors of the menu and the front counter and then the white walls and hugewindows letting in the light from the outside. Sitting and eating was very comfortable so I'm glad I wasn't in any rush. I live in this building and this place is SUPER convenient. The bowls are pretty good and the service is always great. But the... prices are kinda ridiculous for what you get. Only come here because it?s so close by. Update: Came back and they made a supermediocre bowl and forgot my Nutella. I was in a rush so I didn?t check. You?d think that considering the prices they would atleast deliver a good product but like the owner says this place might not be for me! Might not be for you either. Becca/Gabe and team were and pleasantly outstanding and personable with customer service. The food and smoothies were so good my... toddler enjoyed the smoothie!!
