For the many years I've been eating here I've only had good experiences. It's easy to flag down any waiter... you just have to... make it obvious like waving your hand in the air. They're always efficient and do what you ask. This is my go-to dimsum spot -some days taste better than others but it's always been good enough for me to keep coming back. Really disappointed with the lining system. You have to find a guy who is charging the lining manually using a book and a pen.... But you will never know who that is! But the food itself is good though. Especially molten egg yolk buns - ???(a little toosweet for one people to get a whole one, split one with 2 people is perfect) ?fried shrimp dumpling - ???????the Eggplant isalso highly recommended? One of the best dimsum around Boston area! I much prefer Sun Kong than those in chinatown which are super crowded, overpriced... with smaller portions. Portions here at Sun Kong is good and the dimsum is yummy! The baked egg yolk custard buns were sodelicious! Their fried squid is also very good. Har kow, siew mai and chee cheong fun were all very tasty! I?m planning to comeback for more soon! Read more
People somehow raved about this dim sum place in malden but I see nothing to be excited about . Drives was slow and staffs... standing around talking not paying attention to the customer?s needs . The dim sum was pretty stale , food been sitting outthere all dried up and cold . Nothing fresh or tasteful here. Was very disappointed that I drove all the way up to malden forbad dim sum. Read more
Really enjoyed the food here. Parking is available on both sides of the building and if you don't get here early, it will be... hard to find a spot. Looking at other reviews and ask the talk about cleanliness, I was very worried about finding bug remainsin my food. But thankfully, I did not find any. Because I was thinking that the entire time, it really decreased how much I gotto enjoy this place by constantly worrying about creepy critters. I truly hope they build their reputation backup. Changing my review. I had a bad experience eating here the first time with cleanliness. We did not pay. The owner apologized.... We went back and he remembered us. OMG! The food here is amazing!!! I see why my brother, Howard and my family comes here all the time. This is the place to go for... dim sum if your ever in the Malden Massachusetts area. Their menu features all of the traditional dim sum dishes such as shumai, shrimp dumpling, chicken feet, tripe, spareribs and other menu items. The owner, Frank was pleasant, polite and friendly.We did not have to wait to be seated and once we sat down they brought us two different types of tea. This was my second timehere, and I felt like I found a gem all over again! My family and I ordered almost everything off the a la cart dim sum menuand the food came to us hot, flavorful, delicious and we wanted more with every bite. Coming from out of State this restaurantwas a great dining experience and was well worth the trip. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back! The food here are simply tasty among other dim sum places. Really recommend the chicken feet (#20), steamed pork spareribs... (#63). Don't go with beef short ribs, somehow most of the ribs are always tough to chew. Read more
