Love this place so much. Great atmosphere with breathtaking views, and the staff are extremely friendly and kind. Perfect for a... date or lunch party. I recommend you go for sunset as you can catch a really gorgeous sunset some days. I am so happy that Malibu farm restaurant was overcrowded and we decided to change venue to this place for my birthday. The same... wonderful view, better food and definitely much better service than the other one. They accommodated us easily even though wedidn't have reservations. We sat outside with a nice view. In this past year I’ve been to: Yellowstone, Breckenridge, Sedona, and NYC on... vacation and Dave from Malibu Beach Inn - Carbon Beach club restaurant stands out in form of a memorable experience. He isgenuine, fun and attentive. Every encounter with him is a pleasant experience. I’ve worked in the service industry for over25 years and as time passes by the quality of service is questionable but not on Dave’s shift. He reminds me that goodservice still exists. To be more exact “top notch” service still exists because of Dave. He isn’t trying too hard. He’s just exceptional. He checks up on you with perfect timing and when you ask him for his opinion on the menu or drinks heanswers like he’s your best friend. Also he makes the best drinks!! Read more

Unless you are a guest of the hotel..you cannot dine here. Edit: This restaurant also takes reservations. After getting... rejected for not being a hotel guest, I went online and made a same day reservation via OpenTable. Then I walked back and showedthe host my reservation. He begrudgingly prepared a table for my partner and I then seated us. I must also note, the host wasalso the main server and imagine his kitchen staff was also short-handed. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we arrived, therewere no diners indoor and the patio was less than half full. The outdoor dining patio was the best part of this restaurant, ithas a glass separation that allows a nice view without getting hit by cold ocean winds. The food was alright at best, I got aburger I ordered medium that came well-done. My partner got the salmon and it was small to say the least. Everything tasted,boring. So, you're basically only paying for the dining experience and view. The sweet potato fries were unevenly cooked. I alsoordered a margarita and I swear I had better at Applebee's. Read more
