V’s is special. It is in all the details. Some of the reasons I am nostalgically fond of this restaurant are the memories... I’ve made here. We often take for granted the size of a restaurant, as many restaurants can not afford the luxury of beingsmall and intimate. Intimacy seems cheapened when tables are packed in to close together. Something we’ve all grown a accustomto. Food wise, nothing is a miss. (My personal favorite are their scallops) It’s a chefs restaurant. That is to say that it isthe kind of restaurant chefs seek out for themselves. (Ask me how I know ????, Ive seen them there on MULTIPLE occasions, whatare the chances of that?) WOW!!! This place is amazing! Nothing is small or overdone! I was told to go simple and honestly, I was amazed by the flavor and... simplicity... Must try the Mac & Cheese (Spectacular!), the Bolognese (Simple but So Flavorful!) & Drinks... Man are theydelicious! Manhattan, Old Fashioned, & Ginger and Gin Refresher (sorry forgot the name). AMAZING!!! This is one of the BEST restaurants we have ever visited. We went for lunch with my family and the service was above... and beyond our expectations!!! The food was absolutely TOP of the TOP. We ordered the Portobello Fries (OMG- must try!!!), theMac n Cheese, Wild Arugula Salad, Seafood Linguine, Pan Seared Salmon and Grilled Chicken with fries and spaghetti from the KidsMenu. I have no words to describe how delicious everything was and for a very first time my children finished their whole mealand asked for more. Nice place to have dinner, it's really cozy and the service is great! They have many drinks, cocktails and wine to enjoy with... your meal. We tried the soup of the day and it was good, but the seafood is their best. The location is perfect, right acrossthe beach. Totally recommend it for a special occasion! Read more
