This is a great place for sushi and hibachi. Been here numerous times for sushi. This was a first time for Hibachi. You will... not be let down. The hibachi show was unreal. Everyone in our party agreed. One of the people in out party was experiencinghibachi in general for the first time. I had to tell her that they aren't all like this. Ask for Bill if you do hibachi! He wasincredible. We all let an additional tip as the tip is already included because he was that much more above your average hibachimaster. Read more
So I just got the 3 roll lunch special at Azuma. I loved it. I got the Philadelphia roll, the AAC (avocado, asparagus and... cucumber) roll and the shrimp and cucumber roll. I do NOT recommend the Philadelphia roll at all. It has no texture. It’s justa mouth full of mush with cream cheese. The other two were very good. I usually get more raw fish but not this time. Firstthing I noticed was they don’t have a lot of rice on them and I like that a lot. The wasabi was great because it packed a goodpunch and I had enough for all my rolls. The spicy Mayo was spot on. Miso soup… excellent! The salad was basic but pretty goodwith a sweet ginger dressing. This week I will be going to the restaurant because it looked awesome in there. I will probablybe getting the special rainbow roll and something else. But for my first experience, it was very good. In picture is the risingsun roll. Went for the first time ever today w/ my mom for lunch. The atmosphere is clean and nice. Food was excellent. Only downfall was... that the service was slow, and our food took a long time. They did have a few large parties that came in right before us, so Iunderstand the kitchen probably being backed up. I'd definitely eat here again. Good sized portions too. 2 of us for lunch was$44 + $10 tip. Read more
