Quick bite one night after work. The pizza was good and they offered a few different choices.
Tried this place because a friend highly recommended it. Said they have the best Sicilian pie he ever had. I don?t share his... opinion. Sauce and cheese were not the worst I had ever tasted but certainly not the best. The pie itself was way too thick anddoughy. Undercooked in my opinion. Tried it once but will never go back. Excellent! Even though they were short staffed we didn't feel like we were neglected. The staff always had smiles on their faces... and someone always came around to check on us. A very nice and relaxed dinner. Kuddos to the staff at Tonino's!!! Read more
This is some of the best pizza I?ve had in Pennsylvania. That means a lot coming from a NJ resident. Their grandma pie is... delicious with a thin, crunchy crust and plenty of sweet sauce. Their regular slices are huge and also very good! In addition,the restaurant was properly social distanced and its beautiful inside with art and high ceilings. I can imagine how lively andfull the place must be during normal times. If you don?t want to dine-in, they had seats with outdoor heaters outside, ordefinitely order takeout! Read more
We have heard of the positive reviews for Tonino?s and decided to try it out. Admittedly the food and service Was quite good.... The portions were more than adequate and authentic, and service was attentive. I will say that the prices are quite high forthe size and when compared to regional, fine Italian eateries. We also tried a piece of pizza and while at the table, would haveexpected to be served with a normal plate, not paper plate? I would return without hesitation, but do expect to pay a premiumfor the experience. Well done Toninos. Read more
No greet at the door. Had 2 bugs in Caesar salad. Great way to get sick with bacteria(SHIGELLA). Notified server. No manager... touch up after this incident. Red sauces were SALTY for pizza and pasta. Dough was CHEWY. CHARGED for Ceasar salad when wereceived check. Left with no touch up, no greet, but only, "sorry for the bugs in the salad". We will NOT be investing our valuehere, and will remember this terrible experience to share amongst friends and family LOCAL to the area. Read more
