Went for dinner on a Friday night. A 6pm reservation for 7 people. The food was FANTASTIC however, the wait for the food was... not. The appetizer came out fine. We then waiting almost an hour for the main course. It seemed tables that came in after uswere being served first. When we asked where the food was we were told the kitchen was behind because there was a party of 60as well as a full dining room. Because it was my birthday we decided to order dessert. It was probably about a half hour laterno dessert and we would they ran out of cheesecake which 2 of us had ordered. We then just said forget the rest of the dessertsand we would take the check. I guess it was a manager that came over and offered us the other desserts for free but unsure ofhow long we would wait as it was now 2 and half hours of being there we said no thank you. It was very loud, so much so we hadto almost yell across the table just to have a conversation. My grandma is well into her 80s and she was very uncomfortablewith how long everything took and how loud it was. Our server was nice but seemed very slow in comparison to how busy it was. There was no hustle. This was my second time here. This won?t prevent me and my husband from coming back but we probably willnot be back with a large group and we will go with the notion we may have to wait a while. Read more
I was invited to a bridal shower and the meal was ahhhmazzzing. I will definitely go back for lunch or dinner. we had chicken... franchise , eggplant rollatini, penne vodka , French toast, pancakes, quesadillas and Champaign . This place is beyond amazing. The decor inside is stunning. I love that they took a historical station house and converted it to... a fancy restaurant. Bonus - it is right off the train in Mamaroneck and a beautiful park!! Do get the truffle pasta and baconwrapped figs! Read more
Gorgeous Restaurant! Location is beautiful as it is, as the station office is converted into a restaurant. Place has lots of... character with high ceilings and exposed brick and the magnificent chandeliers adds to its beauty. Service was great and ourfood was delicious. Love the location, literally steps from the train so it's convenient for people to come visit from the city. The decor was very... grand, I adore the large front doors and high ceiling. Service was very quick and nice, and didn't rush us at all. We'd ordereda chipotle calamari and they'd brought out the wrong order, when we told our waitress she was in the process of bringing out theright order. She'd realized it herself and taken action. The food was great, see pictures. Had a Chianti and those are alwayspleasing. Got a coffee to end the meal and even my friend who doesn't drink coffee said it was very good. Read more
Went here yesterday with a large group. Restaurant provided a buffet for us. Could not have been a better experience. The food,... service and ambiance were amazing. Will be back the next time we are in NY. Read more
