???????????? Great quality meat and friendly service. I got the BBQ sampler which came with 3 ribs, 2 tri tip slices, and a 1/4... chicken. The tri tip was excellent, juicy, tender, and moist. The chicken was a close second. The mango habenero sauce wasdelicious, I was worried that it would be too spicy since I?m not good with spice but I would say the habenero adds a flavorrather than a spice. The food was delicious great place to eat. Servers were nice the location was in the middle of the outside plaza. You have to... try the mango haberano I couldn't get enough of it. Price wise, it looks expensive $16.00 for a hamburger, $18.00 for a chicken salad, however, thise are the average prices wefound in Mammoth and the servings are SO huge the entrees can easily be shared and you would still have food left over. Great place for dinner if you enjoy good BBQ. Group went late in the evening. Not crowded. Drink variety was nice. The Smokeyard... coffee was a nice warming touch to dinner. The pulled pork and tri tip sandwiches were some of the best we've had. The meat waswell cooked and seasoned. The sauce did not overpower the meal. The fries were crispy! This place was nice, and the service was good but there was nothing special about the food. My family and i ordered chicken... wings that were okay. Ribs that were okay, salmon that was okay and brussel sprouts that were about as plain as could be. Myproblem with this place is that everything was very plain. The ribs were not bad but they were not great. I spent more than 10years working in the restaurant industry, for the majority of the time as a restaurant manager and the problem I have withrestaurants like this one is the lack of passion for food. The brussel sprouts are a perfect example. Brussel sprouts can bedelicious prepared in so many ways. But what we got was plain sprouts with no seasoning. They had just been softened in askillet and slightly burnt. There was no salt, no pepper, nothing to bring out the flavor. It would be an easy fix for anyonewho has passion for food, but Food was just put out for consumption with no care of how it tasted. And that was the case for allthe food. Everything was just okay.
