Better watch out when booking them. They might drop you for something better, which is exactly what they did 3 days before our... event. Shame on you and the way you do business. So disgusting. Read more

I had the pork chunks, plátanos, arroz con gandules and fried yuca. The only thing that was edible was the plátanos. The rice... had no salt, no seasoning, no sofrito, the meat tasted refried dry with no seasoning . This restaurant definitely needs a newcook. Preferably one that taste the food. I am Puerto Rican and we cook with flavor. I am so disappointed this restaurant isrepresenting our culture in my area. Please do better and take pride in the food you cook. Read more

Food was horrible and super expensive! $90 on food we barely ate. Breaded steak had no seasoning at all, it tasted like meat and... was like they refried it. The lady working there said they didn’t marinate the steak they have new cooks and they weren’tfollowing the recipe. Would never go again, real Puerto Rican/Cubans would be so disappointed. The only thing we liked was theyuca fries and sorullos ????. Don't waste your money. 1 star was for customer service, she was really nice. Read more

Really disappointed. This food truck came to Clara Maass medical center for lunch time. Three of my classmates and I were... working on one of the floors as student nurses. We came out of the building at 11:45 and went to the food truck. The one mansaid, “the food is free! But it’ll be ready in 15 mins.” We said, “okay, we will be back then.” During that time, wedecided to go to the hospital cafeteria for a snack. We returned to the food truck at 12:15 pm. At this point, there are about12 people waiting on line. We fall in line after them. The man from the truck yells at us saying, “oh you came back?? I needto see your hospital IDs.” We thought he was joking with us… we responded back by saying that we are students and working onthe floor. We just wanted empanadas and we’re willing to pay for it. He yelled again and said, “No IDs, no food.” Everyoneon line stared at us. It was incredibly embarrassing. We walked away, back into the hospital to work. I have never felt sohumiliated in front of other hospital employees, who could potentially be our coworkers or managers in the future. Read more

Not only is the food delicious the customer service is spot on! I called with a question about my delivery and the owner... returned it immediately. A few moments later another call came informing me on the portion sizes. The education was veryappreciated for future orders. Thank you! Read more

Simply HORRIBLE! dining experience. My husband, sister and I had the misfortune of dining at the Latin Bites Restaurant in... Manalapan on Thursday, August 11,2022. Restaurant had no air conditioning, only ceiling fan and floor oscillating fan. We werethe only ones there. The young man who waited on us had no people skills. He took meal order but failed to ask what we wantedto drink. I noticed a beverage refrigerator so I got up and got 2 bottles of water (thinking we could get coffee later) I hadto ask for a glass. He brought 1 plastic cup. Now to the worse (adding insult to injury) The food (which I would not feed to adog) When the waiter brought the food, I had to ask him for the silverware. After placing the plates on the table he brought 3wrapped disposable packs containing fork, knife and fork with a small napkin. I had to ask for more napkins. The bacalaitos(cod fish fritters) looked like flat small pancakes, oozing grease and burned. (So disappointed since I have had bacalaitos inP.R. which were super delicious ). We should have, at that point, paid for the water and greasy bacalaitos and walked out. Thebistec empanizado was burned, dry and hard as shoe leather. The tostones were tasteless and hard. The arroz con gandules lackedflavor, it appeared to have been reheated too many times. The Piccadillo was also dry and lacked full flavor. The pollo Alajillo was fair, at least it was not dry nor burned. Overall, it appears that the left over food from the food trucks arerecycled to the brick and mortar restaurant. Advise to management-stick to your food truck business. Don’t reheat/refry foodto sell in a restaurant. Also, teach your staff/servers to greet and attend to your customers in a polite, attentive manner. Asmile doesn’t cost anything. “Food makes people happy.” Not at Latin Bites in Manalapan, N.J. P.S. We know our foodsince my sister and I are from P.R. and my husband is Cuban. Being new to the area we were hoping to find a g Read more

The food was okay, the pernir had no flavor, lacked the Puerto Rican pizzazz! The red beans and white rice were good. However,... the worse was the owner guy who worked there by himself; he was hot sweating, no air conditioner at 85 degrees, cooking thefood, manning the phones and the front. He was very rude and nasty to all customers makes you never want to go back. He needshelp he was all stressed out taking it out on the customers that's no good, my daughter placed the order on the phone he wasnasty to her and nasty to me and another customer when I went to pick up the food. This place has definitely changed! Next timeI will take the ride to Perth Amboy for the tasty pernir and welcoming Puerto Rican restaurants with pizzazz! Read more
