Hands down the most delicious food in Monmouth county. There is no better restaurant in my opinion, and if you have not been... there, don't walk, run. The options are all absolutely ridiculous and flavorful. Everything is made from scratch. And it isfamily owned and operated where it always feels like you are coming to your best friend's house with a bottle of wine. (It isBYOB). The "lepeshka" bread is fantastic and warm when it is served. The salads and shishkabobs are served covered withmarinaded onions that are the perfect umami flavor when enjoyed with the meat. The desserts are incredible. The staff isawesome. Thank you so much to Shirin for being my fave restaurant and for letting me celebrate all of life's special moments atyour tables. Read more

Love their food. But the last 3 times went there, the sign says they are open but didn't accept me they are closed. Some tables... had customers. I hate to leave a neutral or even a negative feedback but it is very hard swallow, I had to return back fromtheir door. It is embarrassing, I felt like I begging for food! I am not going there anymore. I gave them 3 chance. Read more

Food tasted so home made and authentic the flavors blew my mind. I don?t understand why other reviews say it is overpriced with... small portions. This is 100% untrue we ordered basically the whole menu at only spent 100$(4 appetizers, 2 bottles onPellegringo, 2 kebabs, 2 sides, dessert and tea) . The home style potatoes, chebureki, hachapuri were my favorite and my husbandate all the kebabs by himself. The only drawback is that they have Pepsi instead of coke but that is no biggie becuase that?sonly preference. Don?t forget to save room for dessert! Can?t wait to go back next week. Read more

What a delightful surprise we fell upon! Shirin is such a lovely place that takes you away for a short spell filled with... culture. From the decorated walls with twinkly lights and carpets, to the sounds of a Russian concert playing on the TVs in thebackground, down to the food served on china plates. The foods are delicious, we started with bread that smelled and tasted sogood, followed by boiled dumplings with sour cream. I had the stuffed grape leaves and the meat was so flavorful and delicious. My date had skewed lampchops and that did not disappoint! Very flavorful, tasty, and juicey. The space is small but that onlyadds to the family and friendly feel. It is suggested that you make a reservation however if you get in early enough like wedid, they will happily seat you. Read more
