I have been to multiple other Bonchon locations and usually enjoy every bite. However, every time I order from this Manassas... location, it?s disappointing. There?s something about this location that is just OFF. If you?ve never been to any other Bonchon,you may not notice? but if you?re a fan of Bonchon, you will not eat this food. For me, my most recent order was the last straw.Instead of Bonchon?s signature Korean fried boneless chicken? I got what looked to be frozen chicken that was fried and thenbrushed in soy garlic sauce. Lesson finally learned; I won?t give them another try. The people who work here are wonderful! They greet you with a warm, friendly smile and welcome you to the place. This double... fried chicken is so good! It's addictive! Other dishes are tasty too! The lunch menu offers special pricing so try them all! Don't forget to ask for some of their yummy dipping sauces! Spicy mayo is my fave! I would rate Bonchon as "Okay, when drunk" for a wings place. It was my first time having anything from Bonchon, and I had it... delivered. This is important because of the sides I got. Generally, when you're getting something for delivery, you don't wantto order fries because anything thats supposed to be crispy just ends up a soggy mess... I found out later that their fries areamazing, and i might have to give them another shot. I ordered 10 pc Wings, Half & Half. Half (5) Soy Garlic and Half (5)Plain. For my side, because of the above-mentioned issue, I had to get coleslaw. As an additional item, I got some extra RanchDressing. I wasn't too impressed with their packaging. If anyone here has ever delivered food, or has a shred of sense, willknow - CARDBOARD is the worst for heat retention and prevention of build of moisture... I have no idea why Bonchon chooses touse cardboard packaging for items they know will need to stay as dry and crispy as possible, but it was a horrible choice, andneeds to be changed. Let's start with the smallest items.. The ranch dressing was bland and simply generic, and had a very veryrunny consistency to it, to the point that if you dipped your wing into the ranch, it was running off like a waterfall beforeyou could get it to your mouth. Next the coleslaw - I'm not a huge fan of coleslaw, to be fair, but when I smelled thiscoleslaw and tried a bit of it, I could tell that it was amazing and anyone who likes coleslaw would love this stuff... Itsmelled and tasted fresh and vibrant. Finally - the main part of the whole meal - The chicken wings! Sadly, I didn't enjoythese wings as much as everyone had hyped them up to... I have been to several Bonchon restaurants but this place is the gold standard in Northern VA. I first was introduced to Bonchon... and I come here often. The wings are big and tasty , served fresh and hot. The sides are always fresh and come in big portions.Everything I have ever eaten here is fantastic and the quality is consistent.
