Visited CJ Finz recently because a nearby downtown war veterans museum volunteer (James) recommended them. Decent seafood... preparation, taste, and prices. Bar was busy. Drinks came quickly. Bartender Victoria did a splendid job. Plenty of funshops to browse at this downtown Manassas location. Indoor and outdoor (shaded) seating at CJ. Plenty of street parking andgarage parking nearby. Near a VRE and Amtrak train station, my mode of transportation that day. Loved my lobster roll, bunoverflowing with chunks of lobster. Several draft beers available. Good vibes here talking with locals. I will return. ???????? ???? ???? Read more

Why is the music always so loud here? I have been a loyal customer since this place opened & during lock down; however, the last... time our family walked in about 4 months ago on a beautiful Saturday, tables were empty but all were filthy & thewaiters/waitresses were just sitting around doing nothing to clean them off . Someone told us we could sit anywhere but we wereso turned off by everything & couldn?t find a clean table. The music was blaring so loud too.. not a relaxing environment. Ifeel the music is more for the staff to enjoy then the customers. There was a very strong odor as well . We walked out & wentsomewhere else and they didn?t seem to care. I was so turned off by everything that I just can?t go back. I feel as though thereis no manager there & that this place isn?t about the customer anymore. It is about the staff having a good time & putting upwith the customers. In the past, it was hit or miss on the music blaring & the customer service. Though I did enjoy many oftheir dishes, it is time to let this place go. I am giving up on it. There are many other restaurants that I can truly count on& would rather spend my money on. After walking out that day, we were so happy to discover another restaurant in Old Town whichhad fantastic food & amazing customer service. Good bye, CJ Finz! Read more

Took the family for brunch this morning. Delish!! 10yo said his French toast was a 10 out of 10. My crab cake Benedict was... amazing. Husband cleared his plate of chicken and biscuits. 12yo had eggs and said they were good but is looking forward totrying the French toast next time. Kids think we should make Sunday brunch there a weekly event. Read more

Have been to this restaurant several times recently, including last night, Friday. I usually always start with a dozen raw... oysters before moving into their appetizers. The oysters are always flavorful and have your typical Mid-Atlantic sweetness tothem. They're also nice and fat and meaty. The crab fries are crazy good and I highly recommend ordering them with whatever mealyou decide to order. Calamari is also perfectly breaded and fried; you actually get more meat than breading at this place! Onlywarning about this place is that their food is always served HOT!!! Which is great, but it's been so long since I've been to arestaurant that's actually served HOT food fresh out the fryer/oven that I felt it needed to be mentioned. I burned my mouth thefirst time I tried their crab fries, try not to make the same mistake I did ???? Read more

We went on 8/20/21. I thought it was really good. We got the crab dip and she-crab fries as appetizers, and lobster rolls for an... entree. The crab dip was amazing, I could go back just for that. The she-crab fries were cold, the cheese and everything wasmelted but the soup (more like a gravy) wasn't hot. Also, the she-crab soup might have a little too much nutmeg. Pretty surethat was nutmeg I was tasting. My description sounds more negative than what it was, I'd get them again, but they could've beena little better. The lobster rolls were perfect. Delicious, tasted fresh, roll was perfectly buttered and toasted. I'd get thisagain as well. Also, good beer menu and the waitress was excellent. Read more

I was really excited to try this place, because I had heard really good things. So I took my husband for an early fathers day... lunch on Friday. We were both super displeased. The crab stuffed mushrooms were just warm and the cheese on top was so tough itwouldn't pull apart. It clearly sat under a heat lamp for a while. Which makes sense since it took about 30 minutes to get it.My husband got the grits and shrimp which was a big bowl of grease. My lobster roll was cold. I mean, straight out the fridge,ICE COLD. Super disappointing. The waiters blamed a kitchen back up, but they weren't even making regular rounds for refills oranything. Maybe it was an off day, but for that much money, I expected so much more. We won't be back. Read more
