Got sick from the food and the bar selection is limited in the sense that the waitress didn't know what "on-tap" meant. The... place felt very unclean and there was a weird smell. The only nice thing was that the waitress was very attentive. Read more

We stopped in while traveling to this area for the night. GREAT gem. Being from southern Maryland, we know seafood. The oysters... were awesome. The shrimp quesadillas were very tasty as was the fried stuffed shrimp. The restaurant was clean and so were therestrooms. The staff very friendly. I recommend this if you've never been, try it. I have been coming here for years and they never disappoint. The ceviche is my favorite appetizer to order. They have variety... of dishes for the whole family. And the prices are reasonable. Plate I always love to get is the surf and turf, has steak, chicken, shrimp and fish. The shrimp is so juicy, steak is tender, chicken is not dry and fish is so tasty. The waiters arefriendly. Also they have great drinks. Read more

NOT CLOSE TO THE HISPANIC RESTAURANTS/PLACE IN THE AREA (LIKE LA JAROCHITA AT GRANT AVE) BECAUSE THAT THE HISPANIC CLIENTSCANNOT ENJOY OF THIS JOY FAR AWAY (FROM THE MEXICAN & HISPANIC COMMUNITY WHO DOESN'T HAVE TRANSPORTATION) ALTHOUGH THE SEA FOODIS JUST AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. Nothing like finding one of the biggest Mexican seafood restaurant names from Houston so far north. For those that know how a... Saturday morning feels after a late Friday night...this place made it all better. I was skeptical at first. The ones inHouston are mainly off main thoroughfares, i.e. I-45, and you CANNOT miss them with those gi-normous signs. This one is nowherenear the grandeur of the other 11-or-so locations and quite quaint actually. Very small footprint with a more modest venue. Itwasn't bustling during lunch hour when we walked in so the skepticism grew twice-fold. It was wife/kid in tow and the bar wasfull! No one sitting at the tables. One thing that verified within 10 seconds of walking was that something was good at thisjoint. We have been seeking our go-to Mexican, not Mexi-dorean as is commonplace here, for over a year now. El Paso is ok butjust melting cheese on my burrito doesn't make it "authentic". We have tried Tacos Moya and were treated so horrible that byprinciple can't go back. Back to this joint...the hostess essentially let us sit wherever we wanted being that nobody cared fora non-bar seat. We were cool with that and bee-lined to a booth just past a small Banda platform. Must have a karaoke oractual live music on occasion. THE Selena looked down at me as I sat down. Drinks? Micheladas, please! My friends, if you'restill with me, this was the first time I poured my own beer into the Michelada mix at a restaurant. Is it a big deal? Ofcourse it is. Could have used a few ice cubes but the heat, lime, saltiness and powdered rim was there on a chilled mug that mythirst desired. Salsa was good also. Not just blended tomato with no salt. Food? Coktel "Vuelve a la Vida" please! I couldtaste the freshness as I inhaled it. The hint of ketchup mixed with Valentina and each chilled bite of shrimp, squid, oysterand pico made me reminisce of the times I would frequent my go-to restaurants. Oh, and the kid appr Read more

The food was delicious, the prices were very moderate, and the portions were awesome. It's in a strip mall, the atmosphere... is not great, the walls lack decoration, but if you want some delicious authentic Mexican seafood do not pass up this place. The Seviche Tostada was a meal in itself, and the Whole Fried Red Snapper with Octopus, Mussels, Shrimp and Squid with Onionsand Peppers Fried Rice and French Fries was a steal....Best meal I've had in years , This is hidden gem in theManassas/Centerville area...
