As a previous employee I wasn't surprised with the quality and enjoyment we had while dining in and having lunch. Lunch is a... calm time so I highly recommend if you want a personal able meal to try them for lunch. Staff was kind but also slightly timidlike and would have loved to hear maybe new recommendations or if anything has changed again not that quality or taste has sothere's nothing that should hold one back from choosing them for their next meal. Dinner gets busy but food and taste do notfalter whatsoever. Kind staff clean restaurant and great food with decent pricing. Do not skip over this hidden delight whenlooking for seafood!! Read more
We really enjoyed our visit to the Shakin Crab this weekend. Service was good, finding a seat was easy. Slightly rustic... ambiance in the place. The food was good. Interesting delivery and presentation. Ordered a 1 LB of mussels and 1 LB shrimp (noheads). Just about enough food to enable us to also enjoy dessert. Their cheese cake was just ok. We enjoyed our experience the food was great. I've been to other roaches we're it didn't seem like the value matched the prices... but it did here. Took out my daughter for Valentine's Day and she loved it as well got the special #1 with Mild Shakin Sauce, 5mild buffalo wings and A calamari platter all for us to share. Will definitely come back at some point. We also liked adding tothe decor and writing on the walls. Just ask for a marker before you leave! Read more
I love cajun seafood. But this place was too salty. Other cajun restaurants usually use diced or sliced garlic but here it seems... like they use powder. I was able to see some powders in the seasoning that are not mixed with seafoods. There wasn't just muchflavor. Shrimp seemed fresh but other types of seafoods were honestly disappointing. Read more
Excellent food, served fresh and hot, and excellent service from Carlos. We ordered fried catfish with sweet potato fries and... Special #1. The special has 1/2 lb each of snow crab, shrimp and kielbasa style sausage. We chose the Shakin Sauce, medium heatand it was so delicious! Setiously, that sauce is so good! Love love love this place. I am from the coast of nc and have lived in Louisiana and Gulf Coast Texas and know my seafood. I... have to say this place is the closest to what i find in Louisiana and Texas this far north. The Cajun boiled shrimp andcrawfish are amazing. Read more
