Just drove thru the drive thru in east Hartford and the girl said we can?t take your order thru the drive thru for 20 or so... minutes. I asked if we could come in she said we are closed inside. Huh? It?s 8:50pm and we can?t order? No explanation. I couldbarely hear her as she was not trying to annunciate her words. She just kept saying wait 20 min or so. The girl was short andnot apologetic!! Just closed for 20 minutes or so??? WHAT?? We drove to Manchester to the BK on Center st and right away therewas a nice voice who was helping us. He explained some things on the menu for us. ( difference between all the whoppers andchicken sandwiches as we had a tough time reading is because the menu had names covered up) ) We don?t eat fast food very often.I was very hungry and picky. The gentleman didn?t make me feel bad for my order and alterations. When we got to the place to paywe were greeted with a nice smile from the young man who took our order. He was super nice and kind and I saw him doublechecking everything we asked for. I?m telling you he was the nicest guy I have ever had in my 47 year of going thru drive thrus.I found out his name was Ivan. Thank you Ivan. You were fantastic! For the 1st time I DID NOT check my order before drivingaway b/c I saw the attention to detail you had. I left happy and restored in humanity after the east Hartford situation. You STILL have the door locked & won?t let people use the bathroom?!?! Every place else that was doing that has gone back to... normal! Do NOT come to this Burger King. 1st they close 2 hours beforetime. So dont try coming after 10 because their hours online are a... lie. They close early and have you waiting at the drive thru for over 10 mins before they even tell you. 2nd they are dirty.They will drop food on the floor and quickly pick it up and give it you. 3rd the workers are rude. This location looks really run down (i.e. landscaping, drive thru) and constantly dirty (power washing is badly needed, revamp... and polish your drive thru and entrance). The McDonalds across the road has better aesthetics and is more welcoming! You don'taccept whopper coupons now? Wasn't aware that BK locations can now pick and choose what to accept?! What good is the BK app ifyou're not guaranteed what you want? Maybe corporate needs to be notified? The lady on the intercom was miffed when I gave hera whopper coupon. I didn't see the worn, ripped sign hanging from display panel. Tried to grab another coupon from the app andwas rushed off. On a pleasant note, the food was ok. Read more
Very dirty as usuall .landscaping is a dead mess. Went at lunch time. No customers. They do not accept whopper coupons from... the Cupon flyers anymore. But take the other meal cupons Why I asked ? This place is the worst location I have ever been to. They always get my order wrong, they?re not shy about not having any care.... The staff does not want to work at all and the service is rude. It?s 11:18 right now and they refused to serve me when the signsays ?Late night? and the hours say they close at 12 am. I will never waste my time coming here. Read more
The place was filthy. Very negative feeling as we walked in. No public rest room sign, no whopper coupons, no 50 bills, no 100... bills. All negative no positive signage. Bathroom was dirty. Behind the counter was dirty. Food was cold. Nothing tastedfresh except the onion rings. Got there at about 130 for our lunch. Would definitely NOT recommend. This is for the restaurant on Route 30 in Vernon CT (across from Ocean State Job Lot). It's clean, inside and out, the people... are friendly (I haven't received any surliness or attitude). I have used the drive in and gone inside. They don't get any blackmarks for the general atmosphere. The food is hot and decent. It's always busy (which may, or may not, be a good thing).Overall, yes, it is worth the time and money. Read more
