I’ve been ordering from Mike’s Pizzeria for at least 4 years. Never had any major problems with my orders before so I... always went back. I ordered a House Pizza today. I called to just let them know I was not happy with my order. The bottomcrust was like cardboard, the edges were so hard could not bite or chew, the pepperoni and sausage was hard and the mushroomswere black and hard and the pizza had very little flavor. I called to speak to the owner or manager. The woman who answeredthe phone kept asking me questions why I was calling. She wasn’t sure how to answer me (clearly she was taking instructionsfrom someone else nearby) then she told me no one was there to speak with me. I gave her my address and said to tell the ownerwhen he returns he just lost a long time customer because I didn’t believe he wasn’t there. Bad customer service. Read more
Very disappointed. This place is just down the road, was my go to place for quick meal. So I’ve had four bad grinders in a row... ( raw bacon on 3, over cooked Philly cheese steak the last one ). And the pizza is no longer good. The crust is terrible - dryflaky and chewy at the same time, like cardboard. Large meat lovers pizza so good definitely going to be ordering again
I have been a customer of Mike’s for almost 9 months now and today I was very disappointed in their service and the way they... handled the situation. I was literally eleven cents short of the minimum delivery amount and they made me order more so thatthey would deliver my chicken Cesar salad. Then on top of that I paid 75 cents for an extra salad dressing but only received oneand they said it’s because they gave me a two ounce container instead of a one ounce to me that is ridiculous when one comeswith the salad and the other one I paid extra for. When I called I felt like the woman I spoke with on the phone had no ideawhat she was talking about then told me they sent two and I told her that they had not and that’s when she told me that theygave me the two ounces instead of one. I just feel that it was very poor service no matter if I’m an old customer or new youshould always make sure that the order is correct and satisfactory for the customer. The chicken on the salad was also a lotsmaller than it usually is. I’m very disappointed with the restaurant right now and not sure I will order from them again.Never even apologized just quickly wanted me off the phone. Just tried this pizza for the first time on Monday, June 28th as for some unknown reason.. our regular pizza place and several... OTHER places we eat for lunch ( like our favorite Chinese place ) have been closed Mondays ( ever since COVID!! ) and we wereblown away by this pizza! Absolutely PERFECT, great taste, great tasting crust... just GREAT all around!! So now this willlikely be our NEW 'favorite place' to get lunch from!! Just a perfect pie! NOTE: We just had their 'Steak n Chesse' grinders...today on August 8th and they were BEYOND belief DELICIOUS!! Perfection at it's best!! Mikes is a GEM of a place to eat and justcan't be beat! Really enjoy their pizza. So much so that I consistently keep going back about once a week. Definitely my go to pizza place in... my area. I got the college kid pizza no hot sauce. The onions ring and chicken are cooked perfectly. Most places that have theonions rings tend to get overcooked but not Mike's. Staff is very friendly. Read more
This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I ordered meatballs and a pepperoni pizza. The meatballs... were prepared and cooked fairly well but there really wasn't much flavor at all. The pizza had an undercooked crust but thesauce was quite good.
