October Kitchen has been a life changing resource for my girlfriend and I. She is an ICU nurse and I have congestive heart... failure - Her work schedule is insane and healthy eating is hard, I have a ton of dietary restrictions due to my health thatinclude low sodium and it?s very difficult to maintain without some help. October Kitchen has provided a solution for both of us- We?ve lost weight, we feel better, we eat better outside of the meals and have carried the portion control and meal bestpractices into our own cooking. My diet has never been better and after a lifetime of disordered eating, I?m finally making someprogress. The food is absolutely delicious, there is no way I?m making anything this healthy and good tasting on a daily basis,these people are wizards or something. The staff is wonderful, the customer service is excellent, the quality of ingredients istop notch, the convenience is unmatched. With the cost of food prices rising, we looked at what we were spending and throwingaway randomly and what it would cost to eat this healthy on a daily basis via our own shopping and cooking. It wasn?t that faroff, and if we wanted to branch into more expensive proteins, it was cheaper to use October Kitchen. We eliminated food waste,saved time, got higher quality ingredients, more variety and much healthier meals for a comparable price. Easily worth it. Soworth it. Beyond worth it. We use the bundle option of ten meals every single week, it reduces cost per meal from themsignificantly and it?s become the foundation of our diets. We can?t make healthy meals with this much variety cheaper than whatthey sell them to us. Could not be happier with our experience with OK and would 100% recommend to anyone. Read more

If you have food allergies BEWARE! Instead of using the widely used industry -standard abbreviations such as GF with a circle... around it for gluten free and a K with a circle around it for Kosher they have made up their own cute little chart where GFmeans garlic free and K means renal friendly. After emailing them my concerns of mislabeling allergens and how dangerous it isI was met with very unprofessional emails back saying they can do whatever they want and if I ?have full-blown Celiac? Ishouldn?t eat at their establishment. They have ?wheat free? as their label for something that should say gluten free becausegluten does not only come from wheat. They are seriously misguided with allergens. Don?t get me started on how something thatisn?t Kosher is being labeled as kosher. Their own key for the labels or not this is downright dangerous and I would steerclear if you have food allergies! Read more

I am so pleased with October Kitchen I want to let all I encounter know the great service they provide. While facing some... challenges I quickly knew I had to find another source to provide me with nourishment! and here I am. I am so eager to ordereach week. I am delighted when the food arrives via a friendly member of the team, and when I see the enticing meals, all ofwhich are presented beautifully, I immediately wish for meal time! I have not had one meal thus far that has not beendelicious. All servings are more than generous, fresh and cooked to perfection. This service is a gift to myself...and itkeeps on giving! I cannot wait to see the next available menu...I must comment that the personnel are so warm and friendly too. They are there not only to nourish my body but they bring such joy to my day. I have relied on October Kitchen for five to six years, and have been consistently pleased with the quality and selection of... meals. The vegetables are always fresh and well-prepared and the main courses have been creative and filling, especially tosomeone on a diabetic diet. Their salads are fresh and complement a variety of items on the menu, although they make for a greatlunch in and of themselves. The presentation has evolved splendidly in the past six months with five-star appearance whichmatches the quality. Read more
I have had October Kitchens meals before, but had never gone in to buy for myself. The staff was VERY friendly and VERY... knowledgeable! They explained everything and were so welcoming. The food was amazing!! So flavorful and the perfect amount. Eventhe flash frozen meals tasted so fresh!! Highly recommend! Read more
We are crazy about their blueberry ???? However, lately there have been some errors in our orders. The young sounding staff... member told me to check her work! Are we in high school or something? Am I bumped up to supervisor or something ?! We arelong time customers. Most of their food is very good. Well, we ordeed food for Thanksgiving. . Our neighbor was kind enoughto pick up the food for us. That being said, I was shocked at the amount of food that we received , for a grand total of twopeople! I found the cooking directions confusing at best! Did not know if the food was already cooked, and merely needed to beheated. I hesitate to give any feedback, because as nice as the employees at October Kitchen seem to be, I realize that I amdealing with mostly a bunch of snowflakes who canned handle constructive criticism of any sort! But since I no longer have anappetite , I will put this in the win-win category. Read more
