Overview: The Angry Egg is a complete hit or miss in all areas, but if you need food that's leagues better than any fast food... nearby, this is your place. The value you get for what you pay can't really be beat. Note: I've been here at least 5 times now,so this isn't a hasty decision. Food: - I've had a large portion of the breakfast menu at this point and the majority of it ispretty good. - All of the wraps I can highly recommend, packed with flavor and will definitely fill you. - Be careful whenordering something with a side of seasonal fruit, it's a complete mixed bag; one time you may get a bunch of mixed fruits witheven proportion amounts which is great, other times you'll get a full cup of honeydew and a grape, or a semi-mushy pile offruit. - The 'I'm Hangry' is a massive meal and can definitely feed 2! - The pancakes are huge, so beware and be hungry! - Theomelets are also huge, and can't go too wrong if you want a filling breakfast, 1 omelet meal could feed 2 as well. - Every timeI've ordered something here there was something that was off. Whether the tater tots were fridge cold, my wrap being sopping wet(egg white veggie wrap), or getting seasonal fruit that is a solid piece of honey dew, mushy, and the list goes on... therehasn't been a single time I've ordered that something ruined the meal. - If French Toast was on your mind, I would recommendsomething else (unless it was a miss the time we got them). Drinks: - Only had hot chocolate, and water. The hot chocolate isgood :)! Service: - Not sure how to address this, but as a theme of the review, it's a complete hit or miss. - When you walk inyou'll either be able to sit down immediately or have to write your name to wait. - You may or may not have the waitress servingyou bring you more water or bother to ask how the food is. - When waiting it may be anywhere from 5 minutes to 45 minutes andyou may be skipped! - I once had an awful experience where we were told the wait was 15-20 minutes, Read more

The Angry Egg has a great menu and the food is outstanding. We really enjoyed our experience here. There are even some nice... outdoor seating tables underneath a few shading trees available. The service is very nice and helpful also. Highly recommended. Read more

I can't believe I didn't find this place earlier! Excellent hole in the wall diner with amazing breakfast items and craft... sandwiches. There are not many seats in this small place so if you're going for Sunday brunch, you may want to call ahead. Read more

Another delicious experience at the angry egg, this time it was a corned beef hash Benny with the side of fresh fruit. Easily... some of the best corned beef I?ve had in years! Brought a friend of mine and he had the cheesesteak omelette which came outdelicious. I will always cherish coming to the angry egg and enjoy sharing it with those around me. Read more

I like this place. Good music playing, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere. French toast sammich- I liked this. It felt like a... poor man?s Monte Cristo. It was very tasty. 4/5 Chicken and waffles- a very nice take on the classic breakfast combo. Read more

The Angry Egg, an egg furiously holding a stick/spatula, warning everyone walking in the door hungry or angry to make sure they... leave happy. Their website mentions Hangry and I would have gone with the H-Angry Egg....personally. The restaurant is ownedby Stephen and Liz, a seasoned restaurant couple with immense experience in the restaurant industry. The couple have experienceworking at Carbone and Caveys, an award-winning fine dining restaurant, that was eventually sold to UConn women?s basketballcoach Geno Auriemma. I did come in hungry but walked out happy as we were greeted by friendly staff, with an efficient serviceand good food. The menu contains primarily break fast and lunch items with a blend of both sweet and savory. We skipped AngryEgg?s go to dish, the Angry Egg Sammich and went with a waffle with berries for sweet and a Mediterranean scrambler with pestofor savory. The scrambled egg came with spinach, feta, onions, tomato, pesto, jalapeños topped with a sweet potato cake. Ienjoyed the food, location and the staff, however I was torn on a rating between a 4 or a 5. I was thinking of a 4 star rating as I have had a better Veggie scrambler and waffle in 2 seperate restaurants but was thinking of a 5 for their friendly staff, service and price. But note most of the other restaurants do come with a toast and homefries on the side which made me go withthe 4 for value. As the system doesn't let me use a decimal point. I hope the 4 doesn't get the egg Angry! Read more
