My fiance and I decided to stop in since we are always looking for a place that we can go and listen to music and enjoy good... food and drinks. We'll, we found the perfect place. Live music every Friday and Saturday nights. They serve food until 10pm. Thestaff are so friendly. Many thanks to Adam and Fergie who are the best bartenders. They are attentive, friendly and they knowhow to make drinks consistent. Because of bartenders like them is a reason why we keep returning. I got a late start for Dinner, this place stays open late and had the cuisine I was hoping for, it was busy but I was seated... quickly and had a choice of outdoor or indoor dining it was a pleasant evening so I sat on the spacious patio, I was greetedquickly from my server, she had a few recommendations for appetizer but I chose the soup, very good. My food took a little whileto get to me but when it did it was hot and delicious, the beer I had was cold and refreshing. If I am back to this State I willdefinitely come back here to eat and relax. Came in for a quick bite after work. I sat at the bar and was quickly greeted with a hello and a warm smile from the bartender.... I ordered the BLT sandwich with the Mac and cheese and one of their cocktails. The drink was well made and the food came outfresh and delicious. Totally recommend. Read more
I always pass by and can smell the aroma of food that’s being cooked, So we decided to come by for dinner , We sat outdoors,... which was beautiful and clean and very pleasant, But I ordered the salmon over ferro, because I wasn’t sure really what toorder, I don’t care for red meat, so even thou the burgers looked delicious, I opted to try the salmon, I had it sent backbecause the fillet was rare inside, it happens when the fillet is too thick the outside cooks faster, so I understood, The guywho is probably the owner/boss was very pleasant, he came over to apologize and make sure we were all set, Also the waitress wasawesome as well very attentive, I gave them a 3 only because of the dish I ordered but everything else was great, Our lastminute date night was great, I love how they have the set up outdoors it was perfect for the weather we had last night. Update:I was charged Twice for our meals, The manager Dan called me after I reached out to Establishment to speak about the charge, Hewas quick to refund me. What I previously rated a 5 star spot that I was looking forward to coming to again and again... well it has lost my business. I... could not find anywhere on the website where a 15 dollar cover fee became a part of joining on a Friday night. I am not surewhere the idea came from, but I complied. The bar staff (unintentionally mind you) seemed to not check in on me, while checkingon others. Maybe as a new Connecticut resident I just missed the cover price announced somewhere, but it seems absurd for barseating to me. The food was good and the drinks packed a good punch. I had a great time at the main pub. I originally got take out but when I arrived I decided to stay and have my food there and a... couple drinks. My server Baylie was very attentive and even though I asked for a no pink burger and mine had pink they quicklyfixed the issue and then offered me a free dessert! The fries are different and tasty! Burger was fantastic, and the fries are half way too being a chip, like a thick chip. The Mac and cheese i got as a side was... very dense, but great combo to dip the fries in. The Ruben was good leftover, but i would get the burger Read more
So hit or miss… with food & service…i can’t really recommend it but I’m the spring/summer …dining outside is great... (minus the main road & stoplights) and one of a few options in town. Read more
