The Magic Carpet Ride is a winner, filled with cheese and mushrooms with melted garlic butter on the side. My recommendation... is, if you go with someone and you can agree on a calzone, split one. Then order the spinach artichoke "bite sides." It comeswith a pesto butter sauce. It's more than enough for 2, and that's coming from a big-guy. Local bottled beer and local sodas ontap. I generally like the chain, though this is my first time eating at this specific location. It's a good place for calzone,... especially if you're like me and aren't a fan of ricotta cheese. Second time trying this restaurant. This location is a 1st for me though. Wonderful salad, ordered the Italian and they offered... to split it which was perfect. Shared a build your own with the hubs, was perfect once again!! Big fan of the soda fountainsince they have the all natural sugared sodas, i mix the diet and black cherry, that way I only feel half guilty...???? Greatstaff, super friendly!! We really wanted to try Sauce on the Side while visiting St. Louis, and man was it worth it. SotS had the best calzones we?ve... ever had. Everything is always made to order. The ingredients and spices were rich, and the sauces on the side were that good!We ordered the Garden, Five-O, and Meat Me in St. Louie, and all were fantastic. The cheese melted out of the calzones as wewere eating them! Great newer staple of St. Louis! Read more
I've lived in Manchester for a few years and am located very close by this location, but I'd heard mixed opinions so it took me... this long to try...and I'm really impressed! I got a custom calzone with bacon, pepperoni, and procel added in with the othercheeses, and it was very tasty (and a perfect portion size.) The only reason I'm not rating 5 stars is because the nutella andbanana dessert calzone would have been such a hit if the nutella didnt run out like water, but unfortunately, it did, and leftus with warm banana calzone. Dipping it wasn't really working because the nutella would just drip right off - no idea why it waslike this, but that was a wholly disappointing experience, especially compared to the other! All in all, absolutely worth tryingif you're wondering and much as I did. Read more
Delicious calzones with delicious sauces. I had the "Meat me in St Louis", pepperoni, sausage, provolone with garlic oil. The... meat sauce was thick and tasty. Very clean, friendly staff. Exotic beer choices. Fun outdoor dining. We will return. Read more
Not much of a Calzone person, but they serve one of the best salads I've ever eaten. I went to Sauce On The Side on a whim and... ordered the Smoke House salad with BBQ Chicken and it was Great. Bravo! Read more
