You may enjoy the food from this place but have you thought about why they are able to provide the services at such an... affordable price? You probably don’t know the dire working environment the employees are in? You probably don’t know thatmost of them work over 70+ hours getting paid peanuts and without overtime pay. They are able able to get away because most ofthe workers don’t have the means to fight for their rights. A lot of these places don’t pay their fair share of taxes eitherwhether business or payroll. Patrons like us contribute to the unfair and unlawful employment practices. As long as demandexists, the vicious cycle continues. Think twice before you place an order at a Chinese restaurant like Chen’s Garden. Read more

If you’re someone who eats food with no seasoning and has NEVER had Chinese food. This place is for you. Otherwise, please go... somewhere else. As someone who’s been exposed to Chinese food in Asia and in the Boston Area, our order (sweet and sourchicken) and combination appetizer is ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTING. 1. Sweet and Sour Chicken to this resto is simply chickenfingers with a bowl of sweet and sour sauce. The chicken was not fully cooked and the breading was just excessive. 2.Combination Appetizer is terrible in taste. A terrible terrible experience. Read more

The beef and broccoli from Chen’s garden is very good with the fried rice and it also comes with a soup of your choice! Their... price are very reasonable even with inflation going on. I would definitely come back for more! Read more

Food decent. Spare ribs a bit fatty. Rice was mensa mensa . Service adequate. Was in area and decided to give it a whirl. I've... had better and I've had worse. Place was filling in when leaving so maybe this is cream of crop for ManchVegas? Bit odd for amai Tai in a Coors Light glass but was decent. Read more

Ordered take out. Arrived when I was told to. Order was not ready. Sat there for over 40 minutes only to have them come and tell... me that a couple of the items I wanted were not available. Said they would refund me for the items. Never did. I called backthey said they would refund for the items, but still didn't. Ended up disputing the charge with the credit card company. Theydisputed my dispute. Eventually, the credit card company found in my favor. Just could not believe how they refused to make arefund for items they ran out of. The way they handled it made me never go back there again. I had gotten lazy only going toChen's for Chinese and sushi, but now had a reason to explore some other restaurants in town. Found Osaka on Elm Street which Ithink has better sushi than Chen's Garden, and way friendlier staff. Also found Sun City Sushi and Golden Tao, both of which Ialso prefer over Chen's. Chen's Garden lost a long time customer who ordered out or visited two to three times a month. Endedup being their loss, and my big gain! Read more

My daughter and I were looking for a fusion restaurant near us and decided to give Chen's Garden a try. The dining area is... clean and open. The bar had a couple customers and the TV volume was low and didn't distract the dining room. Service waspolite and prompt. My tea and my daughter's fountain drink was replenished without prompting. We were supplied kuàizi withoutasking for them (always a plus, just because I am Caucasian and American doesn't make me an unskilled chopstick diner). TheSapresso (sake expresso) drink was well balanced and nicely cool on an early warm spring day. The Crispy Spicy Beef was tenderwith light glossy sauce and the broccoli was filled with flavor. The Angry Tuna Maki had a bit too much bite for my daughterbut I finished it off and the presentation was lovely. We thought the Lo Mein was light with less oil than other restaurants. This was nice as I usually don't eat Lo Mein because it is swimming. My daughter enjoyed the Pork Fried Rice and Egg DropSoup. Overall a very nice dining experience. Read more
