I think the food quality is pretty good, so compliments to the chefs. my review is mostly for value. It’s 50 dollars a person,... and it’s mostly buffet food which has no steak. They come around with steak once and give you one or two small slices, and therest of the food they come around with is comparable to the buffet food: pretty good. I tried to get less buffet food so I caneat more steak, since it’s a steakhouse and I’m paying 50 dollars. They simply stopped coming to our table, and I only had a2 small slivers of steak the entire meal. They actually tried to clear our plates pretty quickly which I thought was reallytacky. How is this place so well-reviewed? Brought various decently-seasoned meats that were all overcooked to the point of being dry... enough to be technically considered jerky. Then there was the inattentive waitress who took an eternity to get us drinks, whichis unfortunate when the meal is turning your mouth into a desert. Were we just impatient and it was crazy busy? No. It was aSunday and we were one of maybe five tables with occupants. Fairly good ambiance until you get to the restroom where you'remagically transported to a fast food restaurant's restroom. It's funny how they completely give up on décor once you need tourinate. On the bright side, $125 for two people to eat dry food I barely ate. We’ve been to a lot of Brazilian steak houses and our visit here fell short. We were seated and handed a drink menu that was... dirty and had something spilled over half of it. My husband put his hand on the chair to pull it in and was surprised to realizethat he had stuck his hand in gum. The salad bar was decent. We had to ask for the cheese rolls because none were given to us.We were told it’d be 30 minutes…50 minutes went by and we still didn’t have any so I asked again. I was told 5-10 moreminutes. A manager then came by a little later just to check in and I mentioned we were still waiting on the rolls. She comesback and tells us 5 more minutes because there’s oven issues. After an hour total of asking for them, the rolls came out andtasted undercooked. The gauchos were very nice. The meat in general was OK but all the chicken was over cooked/dry. The teriyakisteak was good. The server appeared to be doing the whole place by herself. We went spans of time without refills and when shedropped them off she’d set it down very quickly then scurry off. I feel like she was nicest to us when handing us the check.I’m not a stickler but we go out to be treated and have a nice time. Went here for brunch this morning and it was awesome. I tried every single meat they brought out. Each type was so tender, you... barely needed a knife and could just slice through with your fork. The flavor of each meat was different and perfectly seasoned.You didn’t need any type of dipping sauce for this steak/prime rib or sirloin and I’m one who usually uses A1 like crazy onsteak. I had some shrimp cocktail and fresh mozzarella/tomato salad from the buffet. Everything was awesome. The restaurant wasclean, the staff and service was fast and friendly. We we’re excited to go to Gauchos to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, we quickly regretted our visit. The buffet was a... terrible display of cheap food. The food looked old. Cold cuts? Bologna was one of the choices. There was a table with fourguest next to us, the waiter with the meat came to that table 4 times in the span of 20 minutes while we sat there with oursample of their buffet. I watched as he would offer the other table then approach us if there was anything left to offer. Itseemed they had only one waiter doing the meat offering. The cost is $44 per person for the experience, what a joke. Themanager was kind enough to let us leave without paying for the buffet sample we had. In the entire restaurant only the table infront of us and our own was occupied. I went to the manager to explain the disappointment and she said we should be patient,that we had only been there for 5 minutes. The decor in this restaurant represents their food, low quality. Went there on a Sunday for brunch, food was good, the buffet was stocked and fresh. The steak tips were great! The bacon wrapped... chicken was super dry and under seasoned (but its a steakhouse so, I dont expect the chicken to be perfect). The service wasgreat, we had an excellent server! The atmosphere is kinda upscale and had a live piano player, which was nice. Definitely not aplace for a rowdy or "millennial" brunch, but great for a family or older generation. Terrible. Firstly the set-up / atmosphere is very strange. Not a good vibe. The buffet for sides was not fresh and everything... was poorly seasoned. ( cheesey cauliflower was good, I'll say that) they claim they rotate 12 meat offerings and we kept beingserved the same five. The meat was under seasoned, it was well cooked but the quality of meat was sub par. I'm sorry but Icouldn't believe my eyes when the bill came. They did not discuss price and they do not put a menu in front of you. The "jazz"musician they had was not good. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
