Food was decent, I won't say it was amazing (I have had better mexican food). The ambience was nice, the staff were courteous... and got our food on the table pretty soon too. Immediately after sitting, they gave us the complimentary Nachos with Salsa. Butremember this while ordering, the portion size is huge!!! And by huge I mean, one dish is enough for two people. We didn't knowthat, so ordered two main courses. We couldn't even finish one (we are amongst the small eaters), let alone finish the secondone. It was untouched. The prices are also pretty decent. We haven't been to Margaritas in a very long time. We were mostly happy with our visit but I can't give it 5 Stars. Our waiter... was excellent, he took really good care of us. The food was really good Drinks, really good The BAD They had just opened wewere among the first customers of the day, right after 3. The"hostess" already seemed like she was having a bad day. We were???? pointed to our booth, we got to our and the table was not clean, crumbs all over so we took the booth next to it. Eventhat table had dried liquids, old lettuce stuck to the table and the table was sticky all over. Right before our food arrived,we used the facilities to wash our hands and the floors in both bathrooms were sticky. Not good, especially that the floors justopened for business. Visited for an early dinner on Saturday. We sat in the upper lounge area, and it was pretty deserted. Ordered the flight of... margaritas, which was delicious, and the new mad mango margarita, which was also very good. Our server was fine, nothing bad oramazing. It?s a decent Mexican restaurant like all others. We came here on a Sunday Evening. It was not busy and it was alright. The... restaurant is a little bit dirty when we came in and not really clean. There was a bit of food on the floor and I saw a Napkinon the floor and they should be better but our waitress was a okay and kind. I ordered their Nacho plate and it was amazing andtasted good I ordered it with Jalapeños and Chicke. If you have a lot of people you can share with friends and order drinks ifyou want. But for the main course it was a supreme burrito and very cheesy. It tasted alright and it was good anddelicious. One drawback was that music and their audio was loud and sometimes not. So they should lower the music or not playmusic at all. And it was dirty a little bit and the restaurant looks old and the table we had was a bit wobbly. And not thatclean. First time visit to Margaritas. Have to say, it was a nice experience. Chips were brought out to the table right away. The salsa... is quite tangy (which I happen to like) and more tasty than spicy. Our waiter was on top of things. Once we got our order in, itwas on our table in hardly any time at all. We ordered two different entrees, then split them between the two of us. SERIOUS FOOD SAFETY ISSUES!!! While there, the bartender burned the ice in the ice bin because she accidentally broke a glass in... it(proper protocol). However, she used yellow buckets (not approved ice buckets) that were left on the floor behind the bar anddumped into the ice bin. Those same buckets were then stacked into each other and RE-USED. I don't think the floor behind thebar is safe enough to use in our ice buckets!! Our taco meat was literally chilly to the touch. We returned it and were told itwould be taken off our bill (it was not). Cold ground beef is unsafe for human consumption. It was explained that they don't puttacos under heat lamps because it will melt the cheese on your taco. I'm sorry but I'd rather my cheese be melted than my meatbe cold. Take out has gone progressively downhill over the last year. We made a large order tonight and there were multiple issues and... missing items. Ordered the Famous Taster. It came with no taco and the burrito was pretty much empty (see photo) Ordered theQuesadilla Extravaganza. It had no guac, sour cream, or salsa (see other photo) We were also missing 2 sides and we orderedqueso, but got no chips for it. I get that restaurants are stressed, so I don't leave negative reviews lightly, but almostevery item in our order had issues and we had missing items. Maybe it's time for Margaritas to cut delivery/take out until theycan hire enough staff to keep the quality up. Read more
