It's a fun, modern place that has a retro diner feel. The food, service, and drinks were all topnotch. We started with the... oysters, and found them fresh and full of flavor. Amazing atmosphere here, loved the interior, has a classic feel to it. Upscale and still feels casual. Great service and food! I... tried the gnocchi and sausage, would definitely get it again, highly recommend. Good cocktails and beer selection was unique andversatile, many staples and a number of niche exotics. I had my family take me here for my birthday last night. We sat in front of the kitchen which I love as I use to cook... professionally. Our waitress was fabulous. She was totally into the food descriptions,, sold us the specia like a boss! Thecalamari special was some of the best I’ve had in years. The food here is amazing! I’ve been coming here regularly for about a year now and I’ve never been disappointed. They have... amazing oysters, pizza and signature drinks. Waitstaff is always a pleasure. A couple of tips - they no longer take reservationsthe day of, buck and a half oysters are only 2 hour from 5 to 6PM on Tuesdays. My only request to the Crown Tavern is: can youplease add creme brûlée to your dessert menu? Read more
