You don't go to checkers for the atmosphere. You go for the fast food and the quick service. Here you get both. I dislike that... they took the boneless wings off of the menu and sometimes they get your order wrong. But overall this is a solid place for agood meal. Read more
Outside is clean. Food was great especially the loaded fries. Prices were awesome 2 hamburgers were less than 1 at the McD... place. We had 5 orders of burgers, shakes and fries for less than 20.00. All fresh made to order! The front order window wasclosed due to short staff, they are looking for workers. Odered at the drive thru, ate at the outside tables. Everything wasvery good! My coworker went there to grab us some food tonight and he was having a horrible time just trying to get our food, i was missing... something from what i ordered and the fries weren't even hot my sandwich was okay, not sure about his but he had to get out ofhis vehicle to go up to windows because after the order was taken all the lights were turned off and they "lost the order" idon't know what they have going on in there but they need to fix it because this is horrible customer service. Never had issuesbefore. Took about 30 min. We're very unhappy with what happened. Read more
Beware, they are short staffed sometimes as of late September 2022. We just sat in the 'fast food' line for exactly an hour. (We... intentionally checked the time, 6:45pm-7:45pm) Food is great, but the wait is not. I would suggest having a back-up plan whengoing there, and be ready to jump out of line if it seems like it is taking a while. Read more
Their food is really good! And the employees are always really sweet. One recommendation- check your bag before you leave the... parking lot! Twice in the last month, I think we got someone else?s order. Not even close to what we had ordered. Worst experience ever as a Dasher. I spoke with Kai(person in charge) because they made me go through the Drive Tru with a long... line when the easily could get me the food and his excuse was lame and base on experiences of the past with other dashers thatthey weren?t in time to pick up the food. Absolutely not my case and I was judged by others mistakes. I felt the guy (Kai) wasin a stubborn behavior looking at me and almost laughing at my face. Checkers is a mix of the old and new....with delicious food. We had a large order so to make things easier on us and on the... staff, we parked and had our 3 kids decide what they wanted and my husband and I. Went through the drive-thru and when up all 5drinks were ready and we only had to wait less than 5......that's Chick-fil-A fast!!!! Frys and burgers were hot and deliciousand staff was friendly. Sat in the drive thru for 10 minutes (while they were still open). A worker approaches and says that they decided to close early... cause they had ?a lot of work to do.? I said, ?are you even going to apologize for keeping me waiting out here?? He said, ?No.?he said he was the general manager. Very large, overweight guy who was enjoying food next door at Sheetz while his restraunt wassuppose to be open. Checkers? I have this all on video.
