Is the food delicious? Yes! Should they work on customer service? Yes. I was in with my family and we had ordered a cold and... warm sandwich at the counter--the sign for where to order was not on the counter and we were yelled at for being out of place.Already a rocky start, but still optimistic since I grew up nearby and heard amazing reviews. It was fairly quiet when wearrived, the only people placing a sandwich order. We order and are waiting in the small store, looking at goods. Many peoplecame in and picked up ordered, ordered meats, ordered sandwiches, etc. There were six staff members in the deli/kitchen area anda woman at the register. After many people came and went and we had looked through every item in the store, we started wonderingif we missed being called for our sandwiches--all the people after us had come and gone and we were still waiting. We inquiredand were told they weren't done, that we weren't patient, and sandwiches take time--thirty minutes later. Ten minutes later, weinquired how much longer--so we could go sit outside or walk--and were told that we need to be patient, again. 40 min when it'sbeen quiet and it was chicken breast and pesto on bread? Their attitude escalated the situation as it was implied we wereimpatient city folks who don't understand being understaffed from COVID. Far from the truth but very irrelevant and rude for howlong it was taking after politely inquiring on when we should come back. Turns out they dropped the sandwich twice. The oldowner was at least nice--I was trying to support a local business but their overpriced sandwiches and poor excuses won't get mybusiness again. Read more

What a find! I may need to return to Manchester just to get lunch again. Not being from the east we don't see authentic Italian... delis like this and it was such a treat to get real Italian sandwiches and all the extras. But most special were the "DeliLadies" who fixed the orders with such care and friendly service. Truly a special place that created a wonderful memory. Read more
Great place! They have great gluten free options like almond horns and even gluten free bread for sandwiches. Only reason it's a... 4 star I sbevquse they didn't put tomato on my gluten free ham cheese tomato sandwich. 3 ingredients and they missed the mostimportant one... other then that would recommend! Nice selection of wines, cheeses and homemade dinner and lunches. European chocolates, fresh daily breads. A nice adjoining sit... in place too. Their sandwiches are especially good. The two owner ladies are very nice, caring and always on hand. You won?tbe disappointed... Read more
