Really wanted to love this place. Staff are genuine however it's overly apparent they are short handed to the point where they... are running around and expressing frustration in front of customers which makes things kind of awkward while sipping on my drinkat the bar. Staff was all nice but just seemed disorganized and not cohesive. From a food note the salad and bread were amazingbut my main meal came out of the kitchen cold. Had to send it back (which I never do) which they apologized for (again supernice people) but it came back just warm. Want to love this place as it's beautiful and the people were nice but can only give it3 stars based on experience. Read more

The food was good but we were literally told to expect limited service because they were short staffed. They delivered with poor... service. We still tipped 20% on our $200 dinner for two, but would it be so horrible to soften the understaffed disappointmentwith some positive offer other than charging us full price for a poor experience? We were very polite and understanding, we arenot privileged jerks and we get it. But don't charge us full price without offering so much as free coffee when knowing you'llprovide bad service. We got the 8oz NYStrip. First bite we were like, OMG best strip steak ever then came to realize they served us the Filet Mignon.... Still incredibly delicious! Cost us a few more dollars than expected but well worth it. Paired perfectly with the FiddleheadIPA. Read more

Raven's Den has been my favourite place in the six states I've visited so far on my trip and that was primarily due to the... wonderful owner, Nancy. She was so welcoming, mixed incredible cocktails, and made our night super fun. The decor is beautiful,the beer is cold and delicious, and I also had one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. We came in 30 minutes prior to closing after a late set up at the horse show nearby. The hostess was very kind and after... initially turning us away, told us she had spoken with the owner who said to serve us. We were so grateful. The owners daughtercame over to take our order and was pretty rude. She said the kitchen was unhappy and did not want to serve us. We felt souncomfortable that we left. I ate here last night for the first time and I can say with great certainty that I will be back again! This had to be one of the... best meals I?ve had in a long time! I had a great time at the Raven's Den. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Our server, Kiara, was both... knowledgeable and very friendly. She was able to recommend our entrees, the swordfish and halibut, which are excellent. Theswordfish is cooked well and the halibut has great flavor. Would recommend the Raven's Den for dinner! Beautiful decorated restaurant. Highly recommend to experience this place. Chef owned with his amazing wife Nancy. She was... very attentive & full of energy. She decorated this place with such enthusiasm. Great romantic ambience. Loved how everythingwas so nicely articulated. Parking available on site. Service was slow. We waited a while to be seated, so definitelyrecommend a reservation. Games available in waiting area. Our waitress was nice, but we had to remind her to bring our saladand she forgot to bring the bread... we also wanted to get the duck dumplings, but they ran out. Loved the caprese salad.
