Great local Seafood Market and Restaurant with a laid back family atmosphere. Food is great and they serve nice size portions.
We decided to give this local seafood restaurant a try and I?m so glad we did! When you go in there is a small store where you... can buy various Cajun dishes and meats, they also have their own seasonings and a few small knickknacks to take back with you.My husband and I ordered two bowls of the gumbo (no oysters just shrimp and crab) and it was rather delicious. We then sharedthe shrimp plate with fries while the kiddos had shrimp and chicken tenders. Everything was very scrumptious. The restrooms werevery clean and they had fun decor all over to look at while waiting for your food. You order before you sit to get your drinksand such. The tables have cute little names for them instead of numbers. Handicap accessible parking and a ramp to get inside. Ihighly recommend checking it out if you are just passing or even a local! I been here several times and everything was good with food and service and friendly faces. But I went today with my son and... daughter in law, who happens to be mixed and has. Black traits. The service was Horrible! The fish was bad and under cooked.Thegumbo had no flavor or tasted like it was dumped out of a can. the potato salad was gross and the boudin egg rolls wereburnt.The fries were all from the bottom of the bag and no seasonings on it. we never once got anyone to come back to our tableto see if we needed anything or how the food was, not once! As we walked in and. Out we had looks from the staff and. Guest andit was disgusting. I hope one of y'all are not faced with a black nurse while you are on your death bed at the hospital. buttill then I will make sure to spread the word that the people here have a problem with serving and judging others!
