Hy-vee did an incredible job with our wedding cake, cupcakes, and appetizers for our wedding day! Our cake was marbled & was... delicious, and the cupcakes were also a huge hit with our guests. The apps were also a huge hit for cocktail hour. They didaccidentally confuse the cream cheese frosting & put it on strawberry vs. red velvet, but were very kind & reimbursed for themistake. My go to place to buy meat for the grill, the pharmacy, the doughnuts, the hot deli counter. They used to offer decent Fuel... rewards for purchasing various items, but that dried up after just a few months and it's no longer an incentive worth doing moreshopping there for the 2¢ or 3¢ that will go toward your savings at the pump. Purchased about $75 worth of fresh brats from the meat case. Haven't eaten any myself, yet, but my d-i-law says they are... delicious. The young man serving me was very courteous, and, when he had to sneeze between packaging different flavors, heturned his back to the meat, covered his face, then took off his gloves, washed his hands, then put on another pair. Amazing prices and amazing food. Went to find some lunch and got some hot lo mein. Didn't expect the amazing quality I got. Nice, clean with extra friendly staff. Much pricier than surrounding grocery stores, but has a much wider selection. LOTS of... healthy & diet restrictive foods. Gluten free section was impressive. As well as vegan & vegetarian selections. Starbucks insideas well as a newly added WAHLBURGERS! Has fresh Bakery, Deli, Seafood, Floral departments. I believe it also has a drive thrupharmacy. It wasn?t bad. The workers were friendly and the store was clean. The parking lot is a little funny to get in and out of and the... prices were reasonable. There is a decent selection of brands and such. I would be glad to go back. Read more
Great store. Great variety of things. Great location. One of my favorite store in Manhattan. When I go there, cashier's check... were very smoothly as well. So convenient! I've never had an issues when I visited the store. Vegetables and fruits section isalways clean and looks great. So many variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. I like their fresh seafoods counter. I could getfresh salmon and shrimps. They keep sanitizing every shelves and inside the store. Also, most employees were super friendly andhelpful! I recommend this store. Read more
I am so conflicted with this store. It is clean (except the bathrooms always seem to have an issue), well stocked,... unique/specialty items, and friendly people walking around. BUT I have never been to shop when there is more that one humancashier working. Certain times there are none, just about 20 self check out lanes. It?s a shame Hy-Vee has its customers workingfor them, but still has the highest prices in town on groceries. I absolutely will not shop here for a full week?s load knowingI?ll have to check myself out. Read more
