Excellent service and atmosphere, great food and drinks. We ordered a few enchiladas and margaritas and shared the taquitos.... Everything was delish. The only slight criticism I have is the soft shell tortillas wrapping the enchiladas hardened up prettyquickly after they came out. I’m assuming its because they’re handmade? (?) but I honestly have no idea. Not enough to knockoff a star though :) will definitely be back! Read more

I made a reservation for 9:15 pm on Friday night, they didn’t seat us until 9:45 pm. The food was ok, I loved the potato... taquito but nothing else was good enough I’d repeat it. Around 10 or 10:30 pm it turns into more of a bar with a di but it wasimpossible for us to talk or hear one another at the table. Esperanza Cocina de la Playa was worth the wait. It's not easy to open a restaurant during COVID but what can I say. The new... hot spot in Manhattan Beach. The margarita assortment and innovative cocktails were top notch. The food wasunbelievable...tacos and enchilada here rule but there are so many good choices here you can come back for a week straight andnever eat the same meal. Great spot right on Manhattan Beach Blvd. We went here for dinner on New Year Eve. We didn't have a reservation but we were... seated pretty fast. Staff was very friendly and the food was very tasty. Not your traditional Mexican cuisine however it's moreBaja with a flare. The banana chips and black beans were really delicious. The cocktails were delicious as well. Guacamole triowas tasty but was disappointed with the chicharron guacamole. The rice was mushy and although it was tasty it was just a littletoo much. The crab enchilada was extremely delicious and very fresh. Carnitas was good but a little too sweet. A great spot fordinner and cocktails in Manhattan Beach. It was an absolute pleasure walking into this place and after taking my first sip of the margarita and first bite of the... enchilada, you already find yourself planning your next visit…. I came in with a few colleagues and I ordered the mangomargarita and followed it with short rib enchiladas, wow, DELICIOUS!!!
