Amazing place! I went there with a few colleagues from out of state. We all loved it! I had the cucumber jalapeño margarita and... it was great! The chips were crispy and delicious. We got a bunch of different plates and shared. All the tacos were reallygood. I now want to go and try their brunch! Read more

By far one of my favorite restaurants in this area. The service is always good and the food tastes fresh and great quality. I... have been coming regularly for a few months and bringing friends and family to Mercado and they all love it. The menu iscontemporary Mexican but the flavors are authentic, not fusion, just modern. Some of my favorite meals here are the moleenchiladas, carnitas, carne asada and the asada tacos. Their guacamole is one of the best compared to many other places I’veeaten. They also make different agua fresca everyday and they are always delicious. This is the only place where I foundcalabacitas which is a zucchini dish that I love! Environment wise, music varies throughout the week and during the weekend itis mostly reggaetón and bachata sprinkled with salsa, so it could improve but the noise level is manageable and provides a funenvironment during their happy. Seats are comfortable, lighting is dim, but appropriate to match the dark walls and decor. Theoutside patio is nicely integrated to the main restaurant through the bar, which allows a fresh breeze to flow throughout theplace. Overall Mercado hasn’t disappointed and I highly recommend it. The only reason Im giving them a 2 instead of a one is because of the customer service... as far as the quality... i could have... gotten better food right where i live. the presentation was better than the taste. maybe its because we we're black and theyjust wanted us out of there Read more

Lively fresh-mex restaurant and bar. Excellent food, excellent service, and great happy hour specials (food AND drink)!

Overall, this was a very interesting place. If you’re looking for traditional Mexican food, this is not the place for you.... Their drink menu is limited, but the drinks did taste good. We got two different margaritas (cucumber and blood orange) and theywere very tasteful. For our meal we got the carnitas tacos and the French toast. The food tasted really good, however we foundplastic inside the French toast. When we told the manager about this he said “I am sorry, but this happens a lot.” This isvery concerning that it happens a lot. Is there a quality control in their kitchen? What else was in our food that we missed? The manager did not seem concerned at all about this. I would not recommend this place to a group of people who want to splitthe check. When we asked to split the check, the waitress did not know how to do that. We then asked for the manager to do this, who argued with us over splitting it. I have never been to a place that cannot split a check. Read more

Great atmosphere, service, food and drinks. I had the Camarones al Ajillo. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and was... flavorful. Several great starter options and there are several tequila based options as well. You really can't go wrong ifyou're in the mood for Mexican food. Read more

Outstanding service!!! Every employee here was on top of their game and so friendly and accommodating. I came with a party of 12... and they were able to find a spot for us fairly last minute, which I really appreciated. Drinks were tasty. Dip duo wasincredible - both the guac and mushroom dip were tied for best thing I ever ate haha. Chips were a bit on the salty side, and ILIKE salt. I ordered the enchiladas for my entree and felt they were just okay. I'm used to a cheesier experience, though, as Iusually eat tex mex. Overall good experience, just wish I had ordered something different! Read more

Mercado: I’ve only been here once so take my review for what it is. I’m willing to try it again and give it a second... shot. Ambience is five stars and service was efficient and five stars, but I found the food uninspired and the presentation ofthe meal poor. Instead of a kale chicken salad ???? I received some salad with a slab of chicken on the side. All the saladaccompaniments (dried berries, pumpkin seeds, spices) were at the bottom of the plate, under the kale, rather than mixedtogether or glamorously layered on top???? Salsa I received on the side was quite good and helped save the meal ???? For mallarea food it was good, but higher priced compared to a Chili’s or Applebee’s which for some reason it seems closer to thanan El Torito. Read more
