Food: 9.7/10 Restaurant: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Incredible Japanese experience. The fish was all so fresh, tender and naturally... delicious. The rice was delectable and had an intensly flavorful seasoning to compliment each piece of fish. We ordered from thetasting menu that included a few different sashimi pieces and edamame. The tuna, the bluefin, the eel, the salmon, all so sodelicious. I don't have enough words in my vocabulary to describe the freshness I experienced. The servers were veryknowledgeable and described each dish as it was served. They were also able to give reccomendations and adviced how to eat eachpiece of fish. If you are in the area or are in LA, try this ASAP. It wasn't difficult to get a table but every seat wasfilled. Read more
The sushi here is delicious and overall a great experience. Probably the best sushi we've had in the United States. Especially... when you consider the price. We had an hour wait and that was fine. The service was pretty quick once we were seated. Myboyfriend ordered the Nozawa Trust Me course and I ordered the Don't Think Just Eat option. Mine was not worth the extradifference in price. There were a few variations in fish but only one additional plate of Nigiri. So stick with their cheaperoptions! But seriously, we loved the food! Read more
Wait was significantly shorter than expected. Waiting maybe 30mins before being seated. Service was excellent and the food was... amazing. You can't beat of the freshness of Sugarfish's fish. A definite must try if you haven't yet. Read more

A casual place with good sushi at an affordable price! I was impressed with the quality of sushi at this place. The service... could be a little better and the plating could be a little tidier, but the quality is there. The pieces were generously large.I actually wished for less rice, and even would've been OK with slightly smaller cuts of the fish. It's a very straight-forwardset of nigiri pieces at this place. No fancy combination of flavors; just good traditional sushi. One thing the pieces weremissing were the light brushing of soy glaze other sushi places usually do. Read more
Great name and great reviews! The pictures look good and the quality of the super fresh fish is amazing. Some of these dishes... melt in your mouth. Makes you wonder why other places can't provide similar quality. Def worth a stop. Worth the wait. Read more
First of all everything here was phenomenal. It was a great price for the quality of food that was received. Everything was... delicious and tasted fresh down to even the wasabi which had a subtle more plant-like taste and ginger which wasn't overpickledand gave a teensy burn as good ginger should. The restaurant happened to be a little understaffed today, and despite that thetwo waiters were incredible, managing to keep up with customers and still bringing out food at a very quick pace. Consideringhow busy it was with people, we were shocked to receive food and service so quickly at such good quality. Overall 10/10 willdefinitely be making more trips back to this place. Read more
