I had ordered The Beverly Cake. The gold leaves were hardly present. It looked they accidentally touched that gold foil thing... on the cake. But thats still Okay considering it is difficult to really make any shape with that thin gold foil. It tastedgood. Like any other normal chocolate cake. It was very filling. It was not super soft and the bread was crumbly. Seeing howpeople raved about their triple berry cake, I expected this also to be very unique or soft or something better than the restconsidering this bakery is very well known and all. But I would not say it was the best tasting cake or anything. I have hadmuch better tasting and soft cakes at normal, not so popular bakeries and that too for much lower prices. The taste was notworth the price. It lasted 3 days with refrigeration. After that it went bad. So had to dispose the leftover. All this is stillfine. But the main disappointing thing was the message that i asked them to write on the cake. The spelling was as told by mebut the alignment and handwriting was horrible. It looked as if some kid wrote it. The handwriting killed the look of the wholecake. Plus they wrote it so big covering the entire cake surface, and that too some words in a straight line and some in slantedgoing downwards. Really???? Who does this? With paying such a high price for a cake from such a popular bakery you expect someprofessionalism in presentation. The whole cake looked so ugly because of that. I was embarrassed to even tell people where igot it from let alone tell them how much i got it for. I was so disheartened after seeing the cake. I had spent 3 days findinga perfect cake for my sister as i wanted the best cake for her and then this arrived. So disappointed! Read more

Local bakery, too many options I really would love to have the chance to taste more of them. Staff are so polite and attentive.... You could have as many pieces as you want or the whole cake. Worth a visit for sure. I'd some cake from here & pick up coffeefrom other place and enjoy the beautiful summer of LA. Read more

This is based on their customer service. Placed an order for pick up and called to make sure that it was available but no one... answered. Drove 16 miles to find out that they canceled it because it is not available. I asked the cashier if they notify theircustomers and she said "we get to busy!" The irony is that this place hardly ever has an overflow of customers! There was notone person in there before I came in and her and another employee were just standing around! Providing decent customer servicemust be out of her job description! Don't waste your time or money at establishments that don't treat their customers withcourtesy! Read more

My daughter only likes the Triple Berry Cake from Sweet Lady Jane. Usually, she isn?t a fan of cake, but she recently tried a... slice of the Triple Berry Cake and now loves it. So, of course, she requested this cake for her birthday. I was able to orderthe cake online for pick up. You do have to order 48 hours in advance. Sometimes they have cakes ready to go, but they sell outquickly, so just order early to ensure you get a cake when you need it. When the day to pick up came, I luckily found a parkingspot close by. Parking can be a bit tricky, just an FYI. I picked up with no problem, and my daughter was pleased. Even myhusband, who isn?t a dessert person, enjoyed the cake! In addition to cakes, they also create yummy pies, cookies, and othertreats. Read more
