After bike crusin from Redondo beach to the edge of Playa del rey and back we decided to stop at Manhattan beach for some tacos!... With a few to choose from, I went with my gut and decided to stop here. Let me just say its a very modern and casual spot. Theyhave outdoor seating; dog friendly yay! The hostess was nice enough to allow our bikes near the table. I explained that we weredoing a food tour and only wanted a tasting. Ordered … Baja Style pacific cod – cabbage, cumin crema $6.75 I don’tremember ever paying so much for a Baja Style Taco. The taco itself had wonderful presentation although it’s a small streettaco, I didn’t expect that. It had a slight fish smell.. If you’ve eaten enough fish tacos then one should know itshouldn’t have that. Lastly, it needed salt and I get it, no salt and pepper on the table because the food is seasoned well.Unfortunately, this wasn’t. Margarita Fresca – Pueblo Viejo Blanco, pineapple, lime, mint, chia seeds $14.50 The Margaritawas delicious and refreshing after a bike ride. I would love to try other margaritas on the menu. Complimentary Chips and Salsa– Chips and salsa was the best! I could’ve just come here for this and I would have been happy Final thoughts – We wantedto try the CHUPITOS $4 for $16, $8 for $28 and so forth, sounds like a flight right? Our server recommended we not get itbecause you have to get the same flavor, its only good for big parties. I’ve come to the conclusion that tacolicious geartowards bigger groups but I also think they should consider parties of 2. When I arrived on a Thursday afternoon, that’s allthere was…. Just parties of 2. Read more

Bestie and I went for some drinks. ( Her hubby was hungry after picking us up from champagne brunch ) Champagne brunch review... under its respective Google maps section :). We had a margarita pitcher, watermelon margaritas, micheladas, queso and tacos. Wesat outside and had a fun view of the busy streets. I tried some of the tacos and it was soft and flavorful and the queso wasvery spicy for me but good. We then headed to the Purple Orchid. Purple Orchid review in it's respective Google Maps section. Tex mex taco joints are as ubiquitous in the states as bad coffee and great cocktails. This place does a pretty good job... representing. The tacos tick all the "now" boxes...everything is made in house, ans they get the flavours and salsas pretty muchon point. Add a good drinks list, with oversized the new regular, and you'll get a decent feed for the crazy high prices thatare as everywhere as...Tex mex joints. Read more

Actually it’s a 3.5 stars. Liked the salsa that came with the chips at the start and variety of the non-alcoholic drink menu.... Some of the tacos 2 of 5 were really tasty (vampiro and shrimp) and the rice and bean sides were really well done. Read more

Great spot close to the beach for some tacos and drinks. I think my favourite thing they brought out was the complimentary chips... and salsa, the chips were nice and hot while the salsa was soooo flavourful. The shrimp tacos were good, the chicken taco wasreally good, the vampiro talking was lacking a lot of flavour and the streak was extremely dry. The vibe was dope and theservice was great, I do recommend. Read more

The tacos are regular size tortillas but they have a lot of meat which makes them huge! The shrimp tacos are in my opinion the... best in the menu. The drinks are very nice specially the spicy margarita. The service was very pleasant and friendly. Read more

Nice fish tacos with fried fish ! Very tasty and fresh . I also had a margarita which was also good . This place is literally... right up the street from the Pier at Manhattan beach so if you're coming down to the beach and want a bite to eat this is agreat spot . Casual and friendly .Tacos came with 4 different small sauces and stuff in little cups . One was too hot for me butthe others were nice . Also they are open at 11 a.m. ! So they open a bit earlier than Rock'n'Fish around the corner which toldus 11.30 when we walked up so we went around the corner to Tacolicious - the prices are good here too . Read more
