We found Kountry Kitchen on our way to Philly. Not a bad place for a quick breakfast. I had some oatmeal and it was very... different, it was like a baked oatmeal bar and they bring you warm milk to make it soft and eat it. Read more

Great place for breakfast. Very friendly staff and good food. Picture is the ?Kountry? omelette which was very good. I... couldn?t finish it with all the potatoes and toast without exploding. :). Next time I?m going to try the Gyro omelette whichlooked interesting. I?ll go again if nearby. Read more

The Kountry Kitchen impressed my kids who wanted to stop at McDonald?s for lunch. I was able to bypass their favorite food stop... and dropped in on the diner for the first time since moving to Lancaster. The kids cheeseburgers did not disappoint. Both kidsgave A+ reviews for the burgers and French fries. They were super happy with the ice cream dessert which is included in the kidmeals. A review cannot get any better from these two as they would like to return for a breakfast too. The diner is verykid-friendly and I was grateful for the kids menu, crayons, lollipops, and large portions which made for a snack later in theday for my growing munchkins. I opted for the fresh 1/2 lb mushroom Swiss burger and was impressed with the fresh cut fries andtaste of the burger which had been expertly prepared. The menu has an assortment of soups, salads, burgers, panini sandwiches, assorted gourmet sandwiches, footlong subs, melts, Italian/Greek/Asian entree?s, home style meals, steaks/chops/ribs, seafoodand extensive breakfast all day menu. I love that they also offer a senior menu too. It does not surprise me that this ?LittleGem? always has cars in the parking lot. Do yourself a favor and stop by as the food is ?just like Mom?s cooking? and thelocation has plenty of seating, parking, and friendly staff. The diner is handicapped assessable with ramps out front. Sorry,no pictures of our burgers as we dug in right away. Oops... Returned and ordered the mushroom Swiss burger again and a cup ofchili. Delicious. The chicken corn noodle soup was amazing according to my friend. Just saying... If you like this review, please like and share with friends and family. I will be back to edit the review with pictures during our next stop. Read more

First time visit for us. What an excellent place. We came for breakfast. My meal was a cheese omelet with french fries... instead of home fries. The french fries looked and tasted like Bricker's famous ffs in my opinion. Loved them. Service wasalways on the move and kept very busy. Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed before we asked. Only draw back I sawwas the floor bounced some with the traffic on it making the table sometimes move. We will be back again. Give them a try. Read more

This is a cozy little diner, conveniently located between the turnpike exit, and the town of Manheim. Loved the smaller booth... for me and my companion, but a seating of 4 would have been a little tight. This place was super clean, the food was good, andthe service was awesome. It feels like a home-town diner where people come to socialize. I did feel that $28 for what amountedto 2 sandwich platters and 2 Pepsis was a bit on the high side, though. Read more

I added 3 stars only because of my most recent experience typically this place is 4 to 5 stars. They're always friendly. And... normally have great food with good portion sizes. However today I ordered a meatball sub that only had 3 tiny meatballs on it. Aone foot roll, with 1.5 meatballs per side, it was cut I half. Thats 80% leftover roll that I didn't eat.. I asked a waiterressif this was typical and her response was yes and she would be happy to bring me out more meatballs. While that was a nicegesture. I was confused that a cook could make such a skimpy sandwich and think it was OK. Read more
