We ended up here by chance. We chose the spot on Maps to navigate to because it was near an intersection we planned to turn onto... and ride. We chose to have lunch here and it was a delight! Delicious all day breakfast choices. Our waitress, Becky, was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We had the Diner 31 skillet... and the Diner 31 Benny. Authentic neighborhood cafe. Lots of other great-sounding choices. I also appreciated the fact that ourwaitress seemed enthusiastic about the food as well. It was a little difficult for us to find because the main sign saysCaptain's Cafe. And there's a Diner 31 on the door but it was kind of small. Read more

A nice quaint place. Very clean and open feeling. I loved the decorations and signage! I have a small compliant. I have no... issue with places changing their menus. However if you went through the effort to print the menu, then please update your onlinemenu. I cane here to try the Monte Cristo. However it's no longer on the menu! Instead I ordered a BLT ($10). It was a very goodsandwich! It wasn't a Monte though! The service was excellent, with jokes included free of charge. Overall a 4 star review.Would I return? If I lived in the area, then yes. It seems like a consistently good place. Since I don't live in area and wouldprobably only be passing through, probably not. I'd probably try somewhere else. Read more
I would recommend going to this place with 2/3 people max. It is a smaller diner with close quarters dining. The omelet was... pretty good and the captains breakfast was yummy. Good servers and I enjoyed having breakfast here! Edit: the only downside tothe diner was since it?s smaller there is no waiting inside and it?s seat yourself. So if you see people walking in to see ifthere?s a table you panic thinking they will take the table you?ve been waiting for or something like that. Read more
