Our favorite place in the northwoods! A cozy cabin atmosphere with delicious food and large portion sizes for the price. The... waitresses Lisa and Tiffany are so energetic and vivacious! They make you feel like you are a part of their family and that isone of the many reasons we keep coming back. They have an adorable outdoor patio/bar area with a different menu than theirindoor dining room (it is cash only but there is an ATM on the patio) but the food is equally as fantastic than the indoormenu. They regularly have live music (actually good) which just adds to the fun and lively atmosphere! Wanted to enjoy this place more, but right out of the box, only 3 of 4 drinks were delivered and my regular Coke was delayed a... good 5 min, a bit odd. Burgers and salads were good, especially grilled chicken, almost blackened. Sadly, my Italian beef withgiardiniera became an Italian sausage. She offered to take it back but I was kind to accept given the time it took. No pricediscount in the end either. Would recommend elsewhere. Read more
We sat outside on the patio, which is dog friendly. Excellent service and the burger and steak sandwich my wife and I split... were outstanding. The staff brought out a water bowl for our pup and made sure she had a few treats as well. Thank you for anenjoyable lunch and beverages! Read more
We had the Rib Eye steak sandwich, Burger and Italian Beef. The sandwiches are awesome especially being grilled outside. The... chef does an excellent job. Absolutely the best. Great cocktails too. Definitely a favorite place of ours. Bob and Kim Adams andmyself. Read more
A perfect day to have lunch outside in a clean, pleasant, bar & grill environment! As so many places are, in the Northwoods, it... was "Cash Only". We were seated at a table immediately, by a very friendly server...but had quite a wait for our sandwicheswith only one chef grilling (even though we had gotten there just ahead of the peak lunch crowd). Despite our burger andgrilled chicken breast sandwich prices being over $15 a piece, the burger appeared to be half pound, juicy, and I understand,totally delicious! The grilled chicken breast was superbly seasoned (maybe marinated), twice the size of the generouslydelicious Brioche bun, and the swiss and red onions were plentiful! The best grilled chicken that I have ever had. We weresurprised with free soda refills, despite it being in a bar atmosphere, which helped immensely with the wait! We would go backin a second, and next time I will need to bring my husband!! He will love it! Read more
The patio was nice after the sun went down. We should have eaten from the menu that was provided outside. The steak sandwich... looked bomb. Unfortunately we went inside. Super high prices, I'm guessing because of the location. We stuck to some appetizers,just okay. Our waitress was friendly and eager to please. But I do have to say that the view from across the street wasunbelievable! Read more
It was the best steak sandwich around for lunch! It was made perfect! We also had the best waitress!
We sat at the bar because we didn?t think a res would be needed for a Thursday night. Everyone was super nice and people who... ordered a dinner got a neat thing that sits on the edge of the bar so you can eat your food comfortably. I however ordered apizza and had to continue to lean so nothing fell. Mind you the pizza was delicious but felt left out in that respect. Read more
