The cub foods groceries in the Mankato area prices it?s items 20% higher than Hy-Vee, Walmart, and Aldi. The ?bakery? is a... disappointing mix of pre-packaged bread made off site and pales in comparison to Hy-Vee?s baked bread. Produce is typicallysub-par for the expensive price, never featuring new or unique locally sourced items. Read more

Cub in West Mankato has a great staff! Specifically the meat department. Andy is always super helpful and very friendly! They... are lucky to have him there. If you ever need help, recommendations or advice on meat he is the go to guy! Really enjoy shopping at Cub Foods, wide aisles and brightly lit. Very wide selection of fresh produce and great meats.... Employees are helpful and friendly, willing to escort you to the product you were asking for. Also sell a diverse selection ofethnic foods that can be difficult to find elsewhere. Every employee I passed asked how I was or if I found everything. One man even joked with me as he was stocking the shelves he... had me laughing pretty good. I signed up for the Cub card and got all the sales right off the cards, no need to cut coupons andremember to bring them along. I am loving My Cub. Read more
