On a street full of dive bars, pizza, and a grimy taco joint; Pita pit was a breath of fresh air. Walking in the place was... cleaner than the street itself. We told the employee at the ordering station it was my first time there. He promptly welcomes.mywife and I and went through the posted menu and how ordering works. We ordered 2 classic Gyros and split a mango smoothie. Toour tastebuds delight the uniquely wrapped gyros and the mango fresh smoothie were amazing. Before leaving We left them anadditional tip and headed on our way. If ever we find ourselves in Mankato again, this will be our quick lunch stop. Read more

Ordered my food at 11:05. Half hour later, still waiting. Would have been fantastic to know there is that long of a wait. I... would have gone elsewhere for food, since most other places you get your food in less than 10 minutes. Read more
I took my family here for a lunch while we were visiting Mankato and hitting up some places downtown. The food here is very... good, I had the Gyro Pita, and the service was efficient and friendly. My only complaint is that a drink is not included in theprice. This isn't a huge deal, but it does detract from the appeal of the place to some degree. However, it is not enough tokeep me away the next time I am in the area. Again, the food and the service were both very good! I recommend giving Pita Pit atry. Read more
Nice enough staff, they were able to adjust one of the menu items to make it vegan, the falafel wrap, but it ended up being... pretty dry. It seemed surprising that Pita Pit didnt have a good vegan menu item already, considering how many vegans useMediterranean food as a good staple when they eat out. It ended up tasting like a Mediterranean Subway... nothing too great. Read more
Best sandwich joint in town. "Fast food" with a huge variety of healthy options. Great ownership and management as well.
