Good food and good service. Building, fixtures,tables and restrooms very clean. Waitress was great with a good sense of... humor. Paying your bill,you have the option of cash or credit. Cash is cheeper as they charge extra for credit card use. Read more
Food was good. Service- not good at all. Apparently they had a buffet that night that closed an hour before the restaurant... closed. The hostess tells us in not the friendliest way that The buffet is closed! I said, Okay. She just stands there andfinally asked, Well, do you still want to eat? The whole experience just felt like they were trying to hurry us out the door.I've worked in foodservice, I understand how frustrating late diners can be, but an hour before close? Read more
Prime Rib & NY Strip were perfectly cooked, juicy, full of flavor, not over seasoned, not too thick or too thin; just perfect.... 1st time here to enjoy their buffet and it was an incredible experience for me and the family it was worth the drive .Definitely recommended and returning. This was like going to a family reunion in the South where everyone brought a dish. We had the Sunday Buffet and we are so glad... that we happened to stop by on a Sunday (as we would have hated missing this). There was a salad bar with all kind of saladtoppings accompanied by some fantastic potato salad, and a broccoli salad dish. The main bar had all kinds of greens andveggies, mashed potatoes and gravy, Mac n cheese, Salisbury Steak, amazing fried chicken, great fried fish and few others. Theycut your choice of meats right there (pork loin, ham and roast beef). We actually had the owner cut our meat as he told us thehistory of this place. He was very friendly, kind and down to earth. The dessert bar had a great peach cobbler and breadpudding. The ice cream machine was broken that day, but usually you also get ice cream. The decor inside was uniquely filledwith cowboy and western trinkets and things. This restaurant was fully staffed and on the ball with everything. We were toldthat it has been in business for 50 years and can totally see why! You will definitely want to drop in if you are in town. Read more
Amazing food in a quaint little town. The fried squash was my absolute favorite and you are doing yourself a disservice if you... don't order it. Service was amazing and dinner was great. Extremely hot when it came out. I highly recommend this place if youare in the area. Catfish, shrimp, and chicken fried steak were all good. Great prices as well for as much food as you get. Steer Inn is a great place to eat! They have a lunch buffet on Sundays until 2 and it is great! They have several meats and... sides to choose from and a salad bar with some great items on it as well. You can also order directly off the menu which isgreat too. With every meal there is a dessert bar that has ice cream, cobblers and other items. They staff is always friendly. Overall you feel at home while you're there. Read more
